This place is not well maintained. Noisy at all hours, bathrooms were a wreck. All the toilet paper rolls were on the floor and the staff just put them back on top of the holders soaking wet- not even in them, just propped up on top. Very gross. Was told laundry would be available To use but they were all closed except one that was also a storage room and you couldn’t even get to the machines bc so much stuff was in the way. WiFi is very slow unless you walk to the store. Better off staying at a state park for way less!

  • Large KOA park, family oriented, on the lake, lots of boats

Easy to find off of Hwy 3. Very friendly front office staff good directions to site. Van sites, pop up tents and trailers close together. Full hook ups, level site, plenty of room for rig and Truck off road. Dirt and shale site, under pine trees. No satellite reception, campground WiFi slow. The local Lions club comes to this site every Wed and Sat eve and does Bingo ($4./card). Well attended! Snack shack with menu ranging from Hamburgers -Shrimp baskets. Dole whip, and ice creams. Has playground and pool, no spa.Beach access with a dock, they rent Kayaks and SUP’s at the store. Sites are close together so family reunions. Lots of ski boats and water crafts in about every other site . Front office sells both gas/diesel and propane. Both campers and KOA golf carts drive fast on these roads. Lots of little ones on bikes! This is a very dense campground, they need more speed bumps to slow the traffic down.
