Yes there are some run down permanent residents but not one RV parks less than $50 a night I've been to in So Cal hasn't! First drive through reveals the run down section but head west a little bit and there's some nice sites under trees with a great views! It's a short walk to the lake; less than 1/4 mile. Weather is usually great and it's away from the city. Don't expect a luxury site and expect a simple site with just water and you'll have a good time.

  • Omg. Terrible. Runaway. Now!!!

Just look at the photos and you will get the picture. Stayed here only to mine for tourmaline. Should we ever do it again we would dry camp only. Do Not pay for any other type of site.

  • No, thanks!

We pulled in and did not like what we saw: the full hook-up sites were mostly filled with permanent residents and the dry sites lacked shade and privacy. The campground is next to a busy street and not on a lake (although you can see the lake in the distance), We stayed long enough to jump on campendium.com and find a new spot. The one positive: cell service is excellent.
