Nothing fancy, just a lot with hookups. Would only stay here again in a pinch. Shower was stinky, no shade. Better than a ticket on the street I suppose.

Just enough room for slides.

This is a parking lot with no security next to the freeway. Long term RVers have scary gates around them, I assume from theft.

  • It’s a modest little park that’s close to everything

We stayed for three days while we were working in town. SUSAN is very accommodating and friendly as was everybody else that we met in the park. Seems mostly one or two nightstands or long term. No laundry facilities but the hook ups were all fine. They allow animals which is great but there is not a dog run which is OK

It's a no-frills RV park, but a good spot that is close to restaurants and ~5 minutes from the SB pier by car. For being as close to the freeway as it is it is quiet. There are a number of buildings between you and the freeway and it shields much of the noise. On thing to watch out for is ants. We had an ant infestation while we were there. The park host was very nice and allowed us to move spots and even treated the ants as soon as we reported it. They were coming in from the pedestal on site 6. Make sure you have LONG hoses before you book. The sewer, water, and electric are at the rear of every site and there are parking blocks that will prevent smaller rigs from getting close. For our Airstream we needed ~20ft of sewer, 15 ft of water, and 20 ft electric. We arrived on a Sunday and the only RV parts store open was in Ventura ~30 minute drive south.Overall, next time we're back in SB we'd consider staying here again.

The sites are clean and well maintained and there are new bathrooms and a new shower very close by. We met so many very nice and interesting people here. It is a great place for children because the showgrounds are large with lots of room to run and play. There even is a trapeze artist school on site where you can watch them practice their aerial skills. Very good cell service here which is a real plus.Wendy

Availability alone is a valuable factor in the Santa Barbara area and we have had difficulty finding RV facilities in previous visits over the years. To our delight, this park has many of the features we all want and need. The manager Susan is exceptionally accommodating and eager to please, making our stay at this site one of the standouts in our many years on the nation's roadways. A Mediterranean climate makes this location ideal. This is not a deluxe destination resort, but it IS a fully functional and very conveniently located facility that met and exceeded our needs as 77-year-old experienced RVers. We'll be back here often in the coming years. - Peter

Some road noise from 101, but not obnoxious. Have a child who is a healthcare worker whom we haven’t been able to see since the start of COVID. This checked all of the boxes in terms of location, price, access to full hook-ups and sufficient cellular reception to work from the site during the day. There is WiFi available but we noticed it bogged down noticeably as others signed on, and that was during a period of low occupancy. As others have mentioned, the on-site manager is lovely to work with. As others have also mentioned this is a parking lot not a resort! Would stay here again if on a workcation but would probably opt for the private park up near El Capitan SB if we were going to spend less time working and having short carefully distanced visits with our child and more time in enjoying rest and relaxation. Site 26 does offer some shade but bring an extension cord to reach the power box. Oh, ant spray would be a good idea. We haven’t been over run, but the little creatures have been persistent!

So when we failed to realize it was Labor Day weekend in California at the beach, it is no surprise that we couldn’t find a spot anywhere, well except here. It was a happy accident because there was a Mexican Circus, a Mariachi band, a horse show, and lots of fanfare and lights. It was super fun and full hookups and last minute. You have to pay online but the available sites are listed online so you’ll know if they have a site and don’t have to drive up here If there isn’t one. We didn’t pay for our site until 9:03pm so you can arrive late. Checkout is 10am though and that’s rough. I’m not an early riser. Overall it was a fantastic surprise and lots of fun. The dogs liked it and there was fast cell service.

The place is just a parking lot with full hook ups, but make sure you have long hoses and electrical as the hook ups are a bit further away than usual. Not sure the total number of sites but there are a lot. It was super quiet almost no noise at all and very little traffic. There are lights on at night so make sure you can black out your windows. There were only 3 other RV's while we were there, and we were the only one's there for one night. :) When you pull in your name and site # are on a board.....we never even had contact with anyone while there. As of now you must reserve online before hand, and it's a bit of an unusual system but it works. I've heard they are working on a better reservation system. The main plus for this is location, location, location your downtown Santa Barbara for $60 a night. There is plenty of space to walk your dogs as it's basically a fairgrounds type place. The restrooms were left open and unlocked while we were there. Not sure if that's normal. I didn't take any pictures of the place as it's just a parking lot.
