Large park with decent sized spots. It was quiet the day I stayed so I wouldn’t say it’s noisy, but it’s an RV park so obviously rigs are pretty close together. Trains pass close behind the park as well, but no louder than a diesel truck pulling past your rig.

  • Noisy, parking lot style park.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was a small store for limited needs. The park sits just off busy highway 101, but was pretty isolated from the traffic noise, which was nice. All the noise came from inside the park. Garbage trucks running at 6am, chain saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, etc all ran for most of the day. Each afternoon some noisy neighbors would get home and talk/yell rather loudly for a while. This was annoying but they were friendly at least. The park was pretty expensive for what amounted to a large parking lot with rigs jammed in very close to each other. I don't think it was worth the rates they charged.Verizon service was difficult. At certain times during the day, service would not be usable. I work over my VZ hot spot and could not even load the Google search page. We would also frequently just be "off line" even with 3-4 bars of service which means the verizon towers are over capacity. Park provided WiFi was not usable. This all made work very difficult.

  • Nice, clean and very well maintained RV Park

Train tracks right behind the park but not an issue as train came only twice a day.

  • A nice park in a good location, but many sites are much too narrow for big rigs.

Most of the park is taken by full-time/seasonal residents, although their sites were mostly tidy. Many of the sites for short-term guests are just a paved parking lot: no grass, dirt, or gravel, just blacktop with paint stripes marking the lots. In our section (not the "parking lot" section), the sites were separated by 6-foot wide, very tall and dense shrubs. While these look nice and provide privacy between sites, they also take away most of the available site space on each side. We had to park in the center of our site so that our slide-outs wouldn't hit the shrubs, which left just a couple feet of space on our camping side. In short, the site was much too narrow. Without the 6-foot wide shrubs right up against the RV, we'd have had a lot more usable space. We asked to be relocated but were told any other sites would require us to move a couple times during our stay. We ended up spending our week inside the RV since there was no room outside. The WiFi worked on-and-off but was slow. On the positive side, the park is in a beautiful setting, nestled between hills full of grazing cows. There's a very large grassy field where dogs can play, but it's not fenced. Just outside the gate of the park is Betabel Road which is a good place to take longer walks with dogs (minimal traffic, grassy shoulders). Gilroy is a few miles away and has many big box stores, restaurants, etc. We would not return due to the closeness of the sites.
