Also, no satelite due to the large trees. The place is right by I-5 which roars all night. OK, so it was so trashy and bad, we left after two nights. Anyone thinking about reserving here needs to understand THERE ARE NO REFUNDS! None. That alone should be a reason to boycott this place because if the impression of quality does not match the reality, you only find out when you pull in. We ended up forfeiting three nights just to get out and move to Campland on the Bay.

Our initial site was to tight to pull out sides (7), and so we moved over one. Still, so tight, there was no room for our toad except by the door which eliminated any awning area. Is this spot in the heart of Mission Bay, Clairemont, Pacific Beach with easy access to I-5? Yes. But if you're looking for a quality experience, avoid this one.

Our site had lots of leaf debris from the large tree canopy overhead, which also blocked any satellites from our DISH system. The worst part is the CONSTANT NOISE. It's like you have set up camp on an onramp to I-5. Nonstop road noise. And then on the other side of the park, is the roaring AMTRAK tracks, running fairly often. Laundry room requires purchase of a laundry card and load it with money. After loading my clothes in the washer with detergent, I was unable to buy a card. Machine said to take card, but no card came out. Skip this place unless desperate. Oh, and watch for raccoons at night.

The campsite looks alright from the road but once you get in and see the inner sites they are less than attractive. We were placed in the "dog friendly" sites which happen to be in the back with what seems like the full timers. The 2nd day there were flashes and interruptions in our electricity. I contacted the office and the maintenance guy came to replace our breaker. Later that night around 6:30pm, the electricity went out completely and we were left in the dark. I called the emergency number a couple of times and nobody answered. I couldn't even leave a voicemail because it hadn't been set up. We ended up leaving and staying at a hotel for the night so we could have some electricity in the morning to work. There isn't a convenient exit to access the park so you have to actually pass it and come back. Also the road to get to it is full of dips and we had to drive at angle not to scrape (not very trailer friendly). The men's restroom was not very clean during our short stay.

This place will do in a pinch to see the area and that’s it, no frills. The location is prime and the resort has a lot of potential but for what you pay there is better options in the area. Stay here if you don’t plan to stay in your rv, and just see the area. As others have said you will get road noise from both trains and the freeway, this didn’t bother us too much but I did notice.

Wouldn’t normally be an issue but the connections are in the far rear of the spot. We could reach them, but not comfortably. Ended up being inches from their rig.Lots of violations of their own rules. We didn’t get past the first row of RVs to see two dogs being walked that were obviously on their list of unapproved breeds. And multiple trailers that are set up to permanently reside here. Only one RV per spot? Not really, our neighboring spot had a trailer and a class B crammed into it (not extending into our spot, but making backing into our spot between their class B and a eucalyptus tree on the road challenging. Trains passing 100 yards from your rig 24/7. They did not honor Passport America, so it ended up being more than twice what we were expecting. Road to the entrance has lots and lots of dips and grates. Take it slow and it’s fine. Overall, I would not mind staying here again. Clean, safe and convenient to most of western San Diego county. However, for the price and the inconsistent rules enforcement - will likely try any other resort first then time.

Long list of cons;We stayed there for one night, so we can check out a few places in the area and our daughter’s bike got stolen from our site. It’s odd because many of the residents have there things out, but not stolen. Been on road and even boondocked at rest stops and Walmarts never had anything stolen. We spoke to the office about a possible refund so we can apply towards a new bike, but they gave us the run around. They said they would check the cameras the have installed and get back to us. They would ask corporate for our requests. Never heard from them. It’s expensive even with PA discount, it’s tight space with mostly residents, and it’s off an industrial street. Stay clear of this place! Find a better park with better amenities and no thieves.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The pool and spa were well kept. Bathrooms were always clean. Clubhouse and Laundry room were excellent. The spaces themselves are tight for what I prefer but there was room to park the trailer plus or truck, but that didn’t leave any “patio” area. This site is very close to the I-5 so you have constant freeway noise. There was also some sort of train that passed by once or twice. Other than the traffic noise the park itself was very clean. There are a few spots of grass here and there for pets. Getting to the campsite there was construction and because it’s located on a frontage road there was about a mile we had to drive just to get out to the main road. Overall it was great and Inwould stay here again!

Tight for. 40 foot 5th wheel. Next to railroad tracks and hwy 5. Noisy outside. Some full time residents have very run down trailers. The park attendents were great and accomodating to help me with the big rig.

The place is clean and well-kept, and just about the most centrally-located place for seeing San Diego. Many full-time residents, but we were made to feel welcome. Spaces are extremely tight. Office staff were friendly and accommodating, and happy to just talk about dog and clothes (apologies to David Mamet). The workout room, rec room, pool, and laundry were spotless. The women's restroom was clean, though I think it gets a lot of use. It's right next to the freeway, but the sound is so constant it was like white noise; gets quieter late at night.Dog walk is better than a lot of parks, but still pretty confined if you have a dog bigger than a chihuahua. Luckily, you can walk out onto the street, turn north (right) about 1/4 mile, and a great bike/walk path through the canyon begins (there's also a highly-recommended Karl Strauss brewery tasting room on the way, though even their patio isn't dog-friendly). The only reason we wouldn't stay here again is that we have relatives in the area where we can mooch-dock.

I didn't count machines but I'm guessing the laundry room had about 12 machines. The park looks like it has a lot of full time residents and the spaces are pretty close together. The dog walk area is actually pretty nice and long, and they don't permit you to walk your dog around the park. There's a heated pool and a rec room that we didn't take advantage of. The wifi worked well from our spot which was close to the office.
