Park is beautiful with lots of grassy areas, brick paved sites and streets. But it ends there. You have to travel 2 miles on a very bumpy road to enter and exit this park. Should you need to cross over the Antioch bridge into Concord, Antioch or neighboring cities, there’s a $7 toll. You are required to sign an agreement to pay up to $500 should your RV, vehicle or BBQ grill leave an oil stain, or you damage the brick pavers in any way. 15-20 MPH winds 24/7. You are not allowed to park your RV over hanging the grass area, which leaves no room to park your tow vehicle, leaving only your patio area to park. There are 3 auxiliary parking areas hardly being used, reserved for trailers and 3rd vehicles, which they charge $5 per day. I was not allowed to park my tow vehicle there. Pet area is unimpressive. If you have kids, bring a kite, or ball, there is no playground, or pool. The entrance road, and constant wind killed it for us.

We’ve stayed here before, it’s a great spot, very clean and quiet but decided for the cost without the use of the amenities, we decided to check out other options.New management team on site, nice couple, they’re really trying to get things running smoothly and update the online reservations. Better off just calling them and getting on the list or just show up and hope for an opening.

There is plenty of space between the RV's. One side of the park there are cows and migratory ducks across the marshy grasslands, on the other a levee holding back the Sacramento river. There are quite a lot of electricity workers staying, but honestly you don't see many people because they are gone before we get up and they are back inside in the evenings. So it's nice and quiet. Once thing that surprised us is you hear birds all the time, it's so much quieter than most places where there is always the distant drone of road noise. Some of the spaces are taken by people who look to use it as a weekend getaway or as a base in easy reach of the bay area. Understand that we are not party people, we like it quiet to work and walk the dogs. They do have a pretty big dog park, but we enjoyed walking the figure of 8 road in the park. They enforce the rules, which I think is good, in particular 5 mph means 5 mph. It's about 20 minutes to the local town of Rio Vista, which has a decent supermarket, hardware store and some food places. About 30 minutes away in Antioch you will find everything associated with a bigger city. It's a $6 toll auto billed on the return journey only. The price we paid reflects the winter monthly rate, but add electric on-top of that.We wanted to book for 2 weeks, but with covid they only took monthly bookings. About 2 weeks into our stay we extended another month. We will likely return on our annual migration north and south, definitely a keeper.

Loved it. Clean, level, and spacious. It’s a bit of a chore driving the levee road to get there, but worth it. Pavers, hookups, clean park, what more is needed?

This park is located in the San Joaquin Delta, half way between Antioch and Rio Vista, and is a great option in this area of California, especially for larger RVs. After the two-mile drive in on a narrow levee road, you're greeted with palm trees and wide sites, entirely done in concrete pavers. New managers really know what they're doing here. The park is very well kept and a safe place to stay, for a night...a week or longer. Rate indicated reflects the monthly rate of $700. Be aware that the wind blows here, which is why it's a destination for windsurfers, and they're fun to watch on the river right across the road from the park.
