I agree with fellow reviewers, who wrote:“this park provides all the things needed to hook up and stay in the Pismo Beach area. The location is the main thing in our opinion. However, the sites were very close together… I did not like the fact that the sewer connections for an RV were in very close proximity to the picnic table area for a neighboring RV.”This is the first site I’ve had in an 80-day trip where there wasn’t room for our trailer and tv on the same site. There was nearby guest parking, but there was also a warning there had been recent burglaries involving bicycles, so I was concerned. The site is dirt and rock. I didn’t even hook up sewer because my connection was right next to my neighbor’s picnic table. I’ll pull into an empty site on the way out and dump there. There are plenty of sites here that are better. In fact, probably all of them. There is variable pricing. So I would stay here again, but I’d be very careful not to get a site this small, the worst of our trip. Curiously, while there is almost no room between RVs in the area where we were parked, the view out back is pristine and expansive, an interesting contrast. WiFi is $5 per day, but att cell service is strong. Laundry and showers are clean but dated and nothing special. There are other campsite options in the vicinity, but based on the reviews they aren’t better. To end on a positive note, we had an excellent seafood dinner at Ada’s, and a delicious breakfast at Zorro’s, so there are plenty of good options for dining in the area.

Direct access to the beach and can stroll the beach all the way to downtown. Also walkable to state park with walking trails by the water. Wifi worked excellent and had good AT&T cell service so easy to work remote here. Laundry on site and pricey, but machines worked well and very clean facilities with plenty of washers and dryers. $2.75/wash, $1.75/dry Close to San Luis Obispo. Awesome food at Oasis Mediterranean, the Honeymoon Cafe and Talay Thai!

At first we were unhappy seeing we had a site close to the outside road, but quickly changed our minds. It was an end space with our curb side facing out, giving us no neighbors and extra grass. Any and all RV services are available with a great store and laundry. A gate leads to the beach and town is a couple short blocks away. We would definitely come back.

As newbies to photography my husband and I were so pleased by the wildlife, flowers, plants, etc. gave ups plenty of things to shoot ( not bang bang but click click). The employees and campers were kind and we often felt like family. I want to live here.

The location is the main thing in our opinion. However, the sites were very close together. In the warm days, we were entertained by the conversations in adjacent RVs. I did not like the fact that the sewer connections for an RV were in very close proximity to the picnic table area for a neighboring RV. There seemed to be a lot of loud music and other noise but, to be fair, it was quieted down come bedtime.

What we now realize is everyone pays the same rate for a site! Around $75. Turns out if you’re in the smaller side you get a small site, might make sense except for paying the same amount. We also were next to the road and the entrance to the park which was super noisy. There was nothing peaceful at all about the experience. We definitely felt like second class citizens. I have no idea what one would do to get an acceptable site here. I will not be trying again.

You pay for location here; this park is in town so we enjoyed riding our bicycles to the public beach accesses and to restaurants. Good wifi available everywhere. Says it has beach access from the park, but the access put us on the back side of a tidal pool and we couldn't get to the actual beach, so that was a bummer.

This was our second stay at Pismo Coast Village. The amenities are great, the service stellar, and it's extremely family friendly. Depending on what you are looking for, the sites are fairly cramped especially on the southern end of the park. It also can get noisy on the weekend nights.

Pros:- Excellent location! Short walk across a lovely, wooden bridge and short street to the beach--or keep walking north of the bridge to the touristy, but quaint side of Pismo Beach.- Well-stocked general store! Very large quantity of RV supplies, pantry items beyond the basics, good beer and wine, toiletries, etc.- A decent arcade- Huge laundry room- nice pool area and lots of outside games for kids- nice paths at back end along the creek--very peaceful and pretty- HUGE firepits- Secure and not that packed in- onsite restaurant with a pretty good happy hourCons:- Maintenance activity everyday. Loud tractors hauling trash, diesel trucks pulling rental RV's, maintenance and security on their large golf carts... lots of activity on the grounds from sun up to sun down. Regarding the security, they are great guys. But, you do feel watched ALL THE TIME. I guess it is better than some parks where residents are the watchdogs. It won't deter us from visiting again. But, if your hoses leak, or if you don't maintain your site, prepare for a knock at the door with a notice of violation.- Hook ups are smack dab in the middle of the site. We backed our truck into our neighbors and crunched the electrical cover (no real damage). We noticed A BUNCH OF CRACKED ELECTRICAL COVERS. This will cost you $30 and at least 3 visits from security. Don't try to back into your site after dark.Really great park.

The space they placed us in was 168 and is right across from the children's playground. The space is so narrow that the truck on my left can barely open their door to get in and out. Dividing the space on my right is a palm tree positioned that in order to park the toad the wife has to exit the car before we park because her door would hit the motorhome. The children are not supervised by their guardians and do NOT talk and laugh, they SCREAM until 9:30 at night and start back up at 8:00. So if you have kids under 12 yrs give this place 5 stars so you can just park them at the playground and you can stay by your RV.
