We arrived here late, after dark and found that they had an availability board set up so that we can still find an empty spot and tuck in for the night. Very thoughtful and appreciated. Site is right along the creek, so creek sounds drowned out any town and traffic noise.

  • Tight spots but we got the best site!

Firstly, a reviewer said they don’t have dryers. We didn’t mind. We just closed the blinds.Beware it’s 1.5 hours to Yosemite Valley despite the entrance being 14 miles from this camp. But it’s hard to get closer. Great AT&T and the town has good grocery options! Bass Lake is worth a drive.

  • Close to town and Yosemite

I was pretty surprised they were able to fit me in last minute. It’s about a hour and a half away from Yosemite valley which isn’t too bad I don’t think. Cute little town with everything you really need. Sites are pretty close together but a big deal. Very friendly staff and very accommodating.

These were “Premium” sites. Fire rings were placed within a couple feet to RVs, not just ours. Upon arrival the 30 amp service was ungrounded per my surge protector. Office manager stated, “I don’t think so!” Used an adapter to the 50 amp service. They didn’t seem to care. They allow dogs but sites are so small had to walk out of the park for bathroom breaks. Across the way is a truck yard and every weekday at 6 am they idle their trucks. This park is only good for overnighters going to Yosemite. They did keep the trash cans emptied regularly. Will not be going back.

If you are precious , you might not like the mobile RV home at the back. But all the people we passed from the mobile home were pleasant and friendly .

The laundry room didn't have working lights and there aren't any driers. The code for the bathroom was written down on a sticky note and it wasn't correct. The site was really uneven and required a lot of leveling. The bathrooms were missing tiles and not very nice.

Many of the spots are very akwardly placed and I would not recommend sites 28-33 because of the effort it takes to back in/out or 34 and 36 because they are not very level and difficult to access even though they are pull through. The bathroom and shower facility is pretty run down and requires a $20 cash security deposit to use. The park had good wifi which was a plus but I think i'll try some place else next time I visit Yosemite.
