It’s clean and pretty, but quite crowded. The staff were friendly. They have a lot of rules, which I understand, but it seemed overboard. They claim to have a dog area (the size of one small rv spot), but I couldn’t find it in the dark. I let my dog poop in the beauty bark, which was against the rules (I cleaned it thoroughly). The bathrooms were decent, but they want your showers to be less than 3 minutes. Again, I understand why, but it’s impossible for a woman with long hair and a kid in tow. Even 6 minutes wasn’t enough. I’m sure it’s nice if you love order, but it’s a bit overwhelming if you have kids to keep in check. We would stay here again in a pinch, but I wouldn’t choose it if I had a more family friendly option. You can hear the freeway quite well. Not an issue for us, but it would be if you’re noise sensitive.

Tight spaces, but enough room for a picnic table at each site. Paved roads. Gravel sites that are not quite level. The RV park is sort of in the front of a large mobile home park. There's a "dog area" but it isn't fenced in, and full of little stickers and thorns. You can put a deposit down for a key to the pool (small and full of kids). There's a deli in the same building as the office. The lady who checked us in was everything but pleasant. If you plan to stay longer than 3 weeks, you need to fill out an application and show proof of income. I thought that part was ridiculous (they wanted previous employers and landlord information, they wanted to know the lien holder on the camper and vehicle...). We stayed 2 weeks. 3 days after we left, the office called to tell us our rent was late. That was a first for me! Novato is a nice little town and it's not too far from San Francisco.
