Nestled in the pines, this wonderful campground/RV resort has a beautiful creek running through the center, a General Store, Mammoth Pools, 1.5 miles from Mammoth Reservoir and the best part are the people who work there. Super friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and well maintained. They have spots for all size trailers/RV as well as tent spots. I stayed in site number 2; it was so quiet and I was tucked away in the corner. Next time I am going to try a spot next to the river so I can sit with my feet in the water while I have my morning coffee.I can't wait to go back! I loved hearing the stories behind the old photos and talking with everyone up at the store. Mike, the groundskeeper is so kind and always says hello with a smile as he does his rounds. He was always there if I needed help. This is a great place for families and as a solo female, I felt very safe and would suggest it to other solo travelers. I would give it more stars if I could!!! Awesome place!!!

This campsite is truly special. Camped with our two dogs and 11month old and right on the creek. Beautiful campground, well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful and sweet. Swimming, hiking, hanging by the fire all nestled in the mountains. Can’t wait to come back

  • Best place we’ve camped so far. Best swimming holes ever

Awesome spot ! We were by the river . It was cold but too much fun to not swim. Make sure you walk all the way down to the back follow the river down behind the rocks . Best swimming holes there . Bring something to float down the river on. Water available to fill up. Showers and toilets available. Super friendly staff
