Stayed here in mid-April'19. Lake Berryessa was full. All the hills were green and comfortable weather with some mildly windy moments. Sites 26-30 are elevated compared to most other campsites and a bit less crowded especially mid-week. Elevation made lake access a bit challenging. Sites were grass, dirt and gravel but level and had typical BBQ and firepits. Vault toilets and porta-potties spread around. Didn't use. Water spigot was available to jerry can back to your site or most RVs stopped there to fill up before setting up camp. The campground contains a couple of coves that feed into the main lake which were a nice place to fish, paddleboard or lay on a raft. The main lake was a bit more active with all forms of water recreation. It was a peaceful experience except for the occasional boat attempting to DJ for the entire campground while heading out to the lake. The camp hosts did respond to a noise complaint one night. Most people respected the quiet time around 9 or 10pmPrice paid was for 2 people per night with two vehicles, 5$ extra per person, dog per night. Add'l fee for boats to use boat ramp.Small convenient store approx 1 mile north provides extra supplies. Can rent jetskis / boats at neighboring marinas. Be mindful of rattlesnakes. We spotted 3babies or 1baby three times. Neighboring campsite was feeding a deer and we had an alligator lizard visitor. Fun times all in all!
