But being a Sacramento native I can assure you that this area is 1000% better then what you will get in Sacramento. Yes there are full time residents. And yes there are probably section 8 people. But it’s definitely better then most places in Sacramento. Roseville is a major train yard and Loomas is next to the main line. The park is about 1/4 mile away from the tracks and a grade crossing. So yes you will hear them roll past. The spot I got was a little tight to back into with a 35 foot horse trailer. But it fit. The staff is nice enough and the place is owned by some corporation. New WIFI is scheduled to go in soon. Some trees are in need of a trim. But I cleared most of them and I’m 13.6 tall. The site. My site has 50, 30, and 15 amps in the box. Water is good and fresh with no funky taste. That’s one thing this area has going for it. I’m staying for 2 weeks so I can get my truck fixed at the dealership in Sacramento. I normally try and boondock as much as I can. But I have family here and this place had a spot and they were able to get me in without a reservation. Most places in Sacramento are going to be full all the time. Sacramento and California is quickly becoming a homeless camp. Loomas is one place that the tweakers don’t hang around much. The place is clean with little trash and allowed my 2 big dogs. While sitting outside you don’t hear screaming people like most places in Sacramento. Rates. Rates are 55 per night. 300 a week and a little less a month. But it’s only a couple of weeks that I’ll be here.

This park is well worn. There were new managers. Hopefully they will have latitude to update some basics. Everything is run down but clean. Staff was friendly.

Outrageous price for a crummy park. Tight spaces, filthy bath /showers, bugs, train roaring by nightly. Avoid this place like the plague. We only stayed because the area temps were over 100 and we needed both ac units to survive.

I drove in for a view of the area before bringing my family here. I will say it’s not a resort but yet a basic RV park. Throughout the park you will notice a lot of full timers with their cluttered junk and sheds out front of their rigs.It was pretty clean but each site was not maintain equally, full timer sites are in need of cleaning and maintaining. The kids stuff such as playground are a little in need of repair and refurb. If you are just staying one or two nights or passing through for a few hours I’m sure it’s fine. I would not stay here for longer as it just seems to not match the expectations you’d have for paying the same as a KOA.
