Now...well, I won’t be staying here again. It’s about 90% long term, full time residents. The residents were kind and friendly but I felt like I was intruding. The staff work hard during the day, they drive golf carts all around as they do their chores. There was nearly constant traffic in the park and you hear the nearby highway 74 noises. 7:00AM expect to hear a weed blower. All day long expect to hear and see trucks and boats running. Don’t expect the 10:00 PM quiet hours enforced!! Our neighbors partied until well past 1:00AM with no admonishing from staff, a few residents and campers tried unsuccessfully to quiet them down, but not staff. Sites are tight! We don’t have slide outs so didn’t have a problem, but many do and did have issues with space. It was definitely a more rowdy crowd than we are accustom to having at an RV resort. The lake and boating aspect added to the party nature. So if you have a boat or jet ski and want the convenience of camping near a lake and not having any rules to really have to follow, this could be the perfect place for you. This location does not offer the tranquility of nature that we enjoy when camping.

  • Not a resort!

I’ve stayed in real RV resorts and this place should really change their name because it’s very misleading. This place could be really nice but there is so many full time residents there is only so many spots available for actual campers/visitors. The full time residents there have is so junky looking it’s unbelievable. Full work out benches with tarps, junk piled under campers & RVs. It’s very clear some of those campers have not moved in a long time. Full time residents should at least be required to maintain their sites not junk it up. The one full time residents by us had traffic coming in and out all hours of the night very clear they where dealing drugs. They also lit fireworks off right above all the guests campers literally right above when the campground clearly state no fireworks. Right over peoples campers was so disrespectful. Management did nothing. The trash cans were overflowing and stunk to high heavens. It was very busy for Labor Day with live bands zero social distancing. I would recommend launch point down the road for a more safe family environment. It does have a boat launch. No fire pits. Not completely terrible place I enjoyed some parts of staying there I just really thought it was crazy they claim to be a resort and how crazy junky the regulars spots are. People should know what they are signing up for.

It just is not very nice and the spaces are very close together. They allow some pretty junky trailers with blue tarps on them to stay for weeks at a time. The wifi is only available outside the office front porch area. The men’s showers do not have hooks or benches so no place to put your clean things. Women’s shower did have benches and hooks. Both areas are old but they do seem to keep them cleaned up. Three washers and two dryers in a small storage shed area. They did work fine though. This place is okay for a stop over but no reason to stay here too long.

Not so. The clubhouse is always locked. There are no amenities, none. The bathrooms are filthy and close at 8pm. The laundry room is in a closet. Sites are small and stacked. There are many RV's that are in disrepair with garbage everywhere. The dumpsters were loaded with bags of dead fish. The beach is not a beach. I would not recommend.

  • Adequate Resort but primitive sites lesser served.

We parked here 2 nights while visiting family in LA, (this seeming the nearest/cheapest we could get; also family living in Lake Elsinore). Not wanting full hookup, we were directed to either of 2 ‘dirt spurs’ either side of the boat launch ramp, which extended quite a long way towards the lake. There was plenty of space to park. Because it was raining I didn’t want to venture too far/low into possible mud. Picnic tables, but no water spigots etc When I looked around the site I didn’t find any water spigots suitable for those not wanting full hookup. Then when I asked in the office, he directed me to ‘disconnect the white hose and use your own’ at a spigot beyond an adjacent building. It turned out he was talking about the DUMP STATION, which was clearly marked “Not Drinking Water”! So I found an unused full hookup site out of sight of the office and filled our jerry cans from there. So I get the impression they don’t encourage cheapskates like us not wanting the full package. Otherwise nothing to add. Not sure about dump station and price, we didn't need to use it.Dave and Kim, April 2016
