Parked the rv here and visited yosemite valley 3 days in a row. The drive is about 70 miles but it’s over tioga rd so it’s also spectacular. The drive back at night was a stargazers dream.Extended our stay because we wanted to explore the eastern side of the sierra and it was great to visit Mammoth (about 12 miles away) and Bodie Ca.

Stayed here for the last night of our RV Shakedown Trip after nearby NFS campgrounds were full or still too wet for camping. This was the most expensive place we stayed on the trip. With Tioga Road to Yosemite still being closed from Snows, we felt lucky to find a spot. The sites are pretty flat and close together as with most RV Parks. There are some trees and landscaping. It was nice to be able to walk two blocks in one direction to a community park on Gull Lake and June Lake Brewing and Hawaiian food truck in the other. Unfortunately our site was next to a cigar smoker, but it was cool enough that we could close our windows on that side of the coach which helped.
