They have bingo Sunday afternoons and a small bar, The Swordfish Pub that opens for a few hours on Wednesdays. The Wifi worked great. When we were there, there was no on-site management, you have to call if there is an issue. We would stay here again.

Basic RV park with easy in level sites with 30 amp. A few blocks to the NP Visitor Center and 5 mi further to the west entrance. About 6 mi to grocery stores. For an urban RV park it’s pretty quiet. It is behind the community center. Just pull in and get settled and the camp host will come to you for payment. Able to stream with WiFi.

We enjoyed our stay here. Sites are wide, but hookups are toward the end of the RV site, so if you have a large rig with middle-based sewer and water, you may need extensions. Only 30-amp service available now, but owners (who were very nice) said that they are in the process of upgrading to 50-amp service. Easy access to the park.

About 10 min from park, friendly host, level sites, clean bathrooms, showers, Wi-Fi (very slow, useless). Full hook-ups available, no dump station but fresh water available and coin operated laundry but I didn’t use it. Some sites have a picnic table and fire ring.

I do recommend the Joshua Tree coffee company and checking out the crochet museum near the entrance to the park. Also, the local community center is directly behind the park with picnic tables, play ground and small skate park.
Excellent location and plenty of space!

Lot's of space if you're in a large rig too! Some parks over-landscape which is beautiful, but not practical if you're toting 60+ foot down the road. We don't need to finish the day off with an obstacle course. The camp host , Brenda, is super nice and attentive. She is the best! If more Parks had staff like her, everything would be perfect. She keeps everything nice and tidy. Bathrooms are clean ???? too. Pretty quiet at night ???? as well Super close to the JT Park entrance, Dollar General (short walk away) and Walmart a few miles down hwy 62 going west.
Very close to Joshua Tree NP! Basic, no frills camping.

Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self-contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities.Pros – -Convenient to Joshua Tree Nat’l Park.-Very nice park host. -Adjacent to a park with courts and walking/jogging trails.Cons – -Tough to make reservations or talk to someone about the park. -Sand, sand, sand
Rude and unreliable

I asked for an email follow-up, and was told it wasn’t needed and that we were on the calendar. A week ahead of time, I started trying to call and email to make sure that we were still on schedule to stay there, but we were in the Sequoia/Kings Canyon area with virtually no cell signal and absolutely no wifi. I had left a couple of messages, and on the morning we left to head to Joshua Tree, got a voicemail telling us that there must be a mistake, and that the Club was having a semi-annual gem and mineral show that started during the dates we said we were staying, and that there were no spots available at all. I tried calling back to get at least a referral elsewhere, but never heard back at all from the Sportsman’s Club. I thought this was highly rude, and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
