Place is a bit weathered but has charm, we had a comfortable spot with electric and water. The views are spectacular and there was a cute little beach below for the dogs to run. It is located very close to the road so you get road noise. The facilities are ok. Showers require quarters. Wi-Fi is not strong. We barely could send texts, also no cell service

The grassy areas in front of the property were where the sewer connections were located for "full hook ups" Electricity is sketchy but available-I would encourage a surge protector if you plug in. Cal Trans came by early spring and reassessed property lines and there is no longer camping available in the front meadows-owner had to move her house back 8 feet and several permanent trailers had to leave as their sites were on the right of way area. Losing that area, there is very little room for a trailer or RV of any size. The spots she has are about the length and width of a pick up truck-great for tent camping. The views are remarkable and there is great kayak launching here. We will no longer be able to camp here, but will go a couple miles down the road to Ocean Cove-will review with our first trip there soon. I will miss being able to camp here. This is more of a fishing camp ground-it is not safe for small children and is quite rustic. Please don't go thinking this is a good destination for small kids. It's not. But for what it is, it is beautiful and peaceful. I only wish they had room for us. There is no cell service and camp wifi is sketchy at best.

Timber Cove is a ramshackle collection of sites on the bluff between the highway and the ocean. A few sites have excellent views and others none at all. The bathroom and clean with decent coin-op showers. Electric and water for RV sites but don’t think about bringing a large RV (30’ is about it). WiFi is good if you are close to the house but may not work in your RV. Road down to the cove provides access for boaters etc.
