We had to move mid stay as we extended our time at the park. Our first site, 34, was a “deluxe patio grass site”. Right across from the pickle ball courts. The courts where active until about 6p, but not bothersome. Full sun until about 3p when our awning could provide some outdoor shade. Our second site, 48, was a “deluxe gravel site”. A little more hidden and at the end of a dead end. The site had our door facing north which made for a lot more shade all day long. The park is older but very well maintained. Grounds staff where helpful and they have services like daily trash pickup. There can be some noise from the neighborhood around the park. Like most big parks in Palm Springs, this one has had a neighborhood grow up around it.T-Mobile cell service was not good in the area. We had coverage but it seemed to be overloaded when trying to use for web activity. ATT worked with no issues. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nice, clean, gated facility with nice club house, two pools, two spas, pickle ball courts. Grass on most sites which is well maintained. Based on ovation, I would have expected to be noisier than it actually was. People very nice staff. Sites are fine with concrete pads. Our 40’ Tiffin fit just fine.

No one was here, as it was August and over 105 out. But, it’s a huge park with lots of spaces. Great pools and spas. Huge dog park at the front. Very pleasant office people.

However, here is one that I think really is what they say they are.Indian Waters is miles away from the freeway, in I think a very nice neighborhood. Although, there will be sirens as the property is right behind a police and fire station, and there is some traffic noise along Jackson St., there certainly is no constant freeway noise. The reception at the office was pleasant, not friendly, but pleasant, and a lady came out to direct us to our site by golf cart. She knew what she was doing and was a stickler for having me square our trailer perfectly on the pad for aesthetics. I am usually not so fastidious about such, but ok, I get it.They have 10 different classes of RV Sites, with different rates, but I believe all of them are nice. We reserved an ‘A Deluxe Patio Grass site, and that’s what we got. The grass was well watered and green. As this was early March and there were no Canadians because of the border closure, there were plenty of vacancies. So, they put spaces between us and our neighbors which was nice. One of the maintenance guys told me that they let the grass die out in summer, then they scalp it and reseed each Sept for the winter season. The lighting was appropriate and not too bright. We had a hedge behind us between us and the next row, so there is privacy, and you may forget that there are some ~272 RV spaces and 8 rental park models on the property. We used one of the 2 pools and 2 spas and the bathrooms were very clean. Their laundry facility was very nice. However, if you need change, you have to wait until the office opens at 1100 to get it. They also have what we think are liberal pet rules. As this is CA, they do have recycling.

This campground is off the I-10. It’s a gated campground and we felt safe. However the space is tight. We have a 36ft travel trailer with a Ram truck. It was a tight squeeze. COVID has the clubhouse, library, and gym closed. It expensive for the lack of space and lacking amenities.

They were very accommodating to our request to be close to the restrooms (we have a camper van with no bathroom). The bathrooms were super clean. Our sauté was close to the main street which meant a bit of noise but didn’t bother our sleep at all. Would stay again.

  • We totally enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back!

They had most of the loops closed for re-seeding of grass so we didn't have any choice in terms of picking a spot. But they put us in a spot we really liked. We had a palm tree and some other trees in the distance that provided shade all morning until about 11 a.m. After that, it was 100 degrees down there and it got hot. But the evenings were amazing! Wifi was great! Verizon had full bars. We loved the pool area and the whole common area around the pools. Again, it was deserted and nothing was really open in terms of food or service, but that was okay by us due to Covid. We swam in the pool each evening and walked back to our Airstream with just a towel wrapped around us. Really lovely! The customer service team was really nice, very helpful, and would call back within minutes if we left a message. We really liked this place, but again, it was totally empty. I can imagine it might feel a bit more crowded when it's full.

Because it was off-season, the landscaping around many of the grass lots was not maintained, and it seemed a little depressing at first, but we enjoyed the quiet (and low price). The fitness center is well-appointed and we enjoyed cooling off in the two excellently-maintained pools. The park is gated, but you are in a nice neighborhood close to shopping. The in-town noise is not excessive, but be prepared to hear sirens from the nearby police and fire departments. We were in a concrete pull-through with gravel - there was no patio or picnic table. Note that the sewer hook-ups at are the rear of pull-through sites (we had to purchase another hose even those we already had three).

The campground was sparsely populated when we were here and our pull-through site was huge. You could probably fit about 5 of our little 16' ft camper in the spot. Pads are concrete, the distance to your neighbors is average. They are close, but not too close. Full-hookups all were good, water pressure is fine with a regulator. It gets very hot here, so we had the AC running while in the park and had no problems. There was no shade at our site, and there didn't look to be much in the way of shade at any of the sites. There are two swimming pools, one that is I think 3ft, and the other is much deeper. Very clean. Very clean bathhouses as well.No propane refill on site. They refer you to a local market down the road. Close to where the conference was held, as well as other hotels. It was also very quiet.

We were there over the Christmas/New Years holiday and the resort hosted some nice events. In addition, they offer waffles and OJ every morning if you are so inclined. This is not a 55 plus community so be aware that there will be families at this park but the majority of folks were snowbirds. The management was pleasant and there are some upgrades being done to the pool area.We were in site 88 which was a deluxe patio with grass which was a spacious site. This location meant we were near the club house and wifi was very good. The downside is that we were right in front of the staging area so on a busy day when there were alot of rigs coming in, it is a bit noisy. At night, it was very quiet so we slept very well.Indio is a bit farther from Palm Springs but there is every type of store you would need in La Quinta. We loved the Sprouts Market ...great produce and meat department. The whole area has great biking and well marked bike lanes.

For our one-week stay we chose the cheapest site, a gravel back-in, and it was comfortable for us with a separate concrete pad for our car and a tree. The park is very well maintained with attractive landscaping, trees, grassy areas, and lakes. There were three grassy dog parks (two large enough for our Labrador to play comfortably) and a walking path around one section of the RV park. The WiFi worked sometimes but we found ourselves relying on our hotspot other times. Both Verizon and AT&T had strong signals but were sometimes slow. This being our first time in the area, we discovered that Indio was a bit further away from Palm Springs than we expected, so we had several 45-minute drives to do our touristy things. Given the high price of many other RV parks in the area, we found Indian Waters to be a good balance of quality and price. Our one week stay with Escapees discount came to $36/night plus tax. We would likely return here in the future.

On the plus side I was impressed with the wide, clean roads, the locked gate to get in, and the cute pond on the property. Laundry facilities and shower were clean. On the con side I did not like that my water spigot had a broken handle, which hurt my hand and was hard to turn. I also couldn't fit my electronic plugs into the electric outlet. Other than that the place was okay and reasonably priced for the area.
