Was a great place plenty of room in the pool insights for our sprinter van the campsites were plenty spread out, Finding beach access on Saturday and Sunday is near impossible most of the places within 10 miles in either direction we’re just filled with people

Amazing setting! In the redwoods with access to the River. Beach is a 3 minute drive. Great place for kids but BEWARE if you’re not interested in kids or big family gatherings. I think 90% of sites were occupied by families!

  • Friendly RV Park & perfect place for kids!

Staff very friendly & helpful. Close to the beach, however, best to drive. No trails to the beach. The park is located on the Gualala River which a great river. While we were there, the water was low, & not running fast. Good swimming, kayaking or canoeing. When making reservations, it is very helpful if they know what kind of rig you are in, so they can get the best fit for the sites available. No two sites are alike. Make sure to have an extra water hose, & good electric extension as the hook ups are in the trees. You are camping in a Redwood forest! I gave it only 3 stars for access due to Hwy 1. Its a difficult hwy when pulling a trailer. 5 star for access to the river & 4 for the beach.

Beautiful campground within the redwoods tucked along the GUALALA River. Short drive to the beach/pacific coast. Site had 30 amp hookup with water. Dumping station available on the way out. Nice bathrooms and showers if needed with small camp store available. Great place and will definitely stay again.

It almost seemed as though it was fake it was so perfect and beautiful. The sites were amazing! We found dozens we would have been happy with. We picked one that was right up against the river that ran through it. They had an amazing hike through a forest of redwoods and when you got to the end you were at the beach with a beautiful walk along the cliff overlooking the ocean. We saw 8 whales in one day. It was really prefect. Noise wasn’t too bad and most of the sites gave you fair amount of room. Some more then others. My husband wants to go back every year.
