Excellent, efficient staff and clean facilities. We used as a break after LA traffic. Comfortable spaces, friendly people, fenced in dog parks. Looks like lots of long term residents but checking out all of the various rigs was entertaining. Great place for one night! Great WiFi.

A little remote and you have to drive to the nearest town(s), but clean grounds and nice site. Very easy to book online. The RV park is pretty large so it's a nice daily walk. We had an easy pull thru site with plenty of space for our RV and truck to fit and had some shade from a nearby tree. There were a few bugs at night, but nothing miserable. Wifi worked fine for us. For video calls during work we used our hotspot just to be safe, but otherwise their wifi was reliable and worked just fine. AT&T service worked great.Laundry was credit card which made it easy to avoid a hassle of getting quarters. They have a few pools and hot tub, but closed due to COVID.

The location of this place is great however if your going to six flags or magic mountain. They also have an adult pool and family pool. I myself don’t have kids and sometimes places pools will be overcrowded with kids and it was just nice to have the option. The older front desk lady is the rudest person ever she’s very smart ass attitude couldn’t answer any questions on availability. She’s obviously over the job and it showed daily no matter how nice I tried to be. They also have a nice dog run but the full time residents like to act like they own it. They say they have monthly availability on their website but they don’t because they obviously never make anyone leave or have a set only stay six months at a time. You would think they would do that so spots didn’t get junked up but whatever if they like looking like trash compared to other RV parks then so be it.

The loop that we were parked in was dedicated to campers staying less than two weeks. The site itself was okay. The gravel pad was surprisingly level. The picnic area was a little on the small side, and the grass was in need of attention. The bathrooms were extremely clean, and the water was hot! The pool was open, however the gate surrounding the pool was being repaired. So it was very loud around the pool. The ground maintenance crew was also trimming trees the entire week during our stay which was bothersome. We did have an issue on our check out day. The site was double booked. So we had an angry camper lurking at our site until we departed. Management did come out and apologize. But, it didn't make the awkward stares stop.

I have clients that I have to meet with periodically in the LA area. I tried two parks that were somewhat closer in, but they were super tight, the urban environment was stressful, and they didn't save me any time getting downtown. VTV gives you more site space, 3 pools, nice laundry, clean restrooms/showers, a dog park, and - as important - beautiful views of the surrounding hills. True, some long-term renters make an eyesore of their space with piles of stuff, but travelers staying 2 weeks or less are placed in areas separate from long-term renters (either rows A and B, closer to the pools, or in K area around a covered group picnic area, where there's more space for big rigs with slide outs) so you really don't have to be bothered with that. Walmart, Sam's Club, and several nice restaurants are nearby. This has become our base when we're in the area. One caveat: July and August can have some brutally hot days that put a strain on your A/C. Summer 2018 was hotter than average and our compressor froze up twice in early July. Hoping to spend these two months closer to the coast next year.

Our power pedestal was falling over as if someone hit it. We typically stay near the beach and just do day trips to see family but we chose to stay here this time. It is basically a huge park of full timers with a lot dilapidated units. We saw tarps hanging off older units for rain protection, sites with a ton of clutter, people parked in the roads instead of on their sites, etc. The lady at the desk told me it is a full time job to sort all of the mail that comes into the park for the full time residents. I know there are not a lot of options in the area but I wouldn’t make this more than a short stopover.

For the price, it's worth it.The park is easy to get into and out of but the pull through sites are a bit short. They give you a site based on length. We're 31 feet and our rear bumper was *at* the edge of the road. We still had to park our Jeep sideways so it would fit. There are sites for longer rigs and we saw several big diesel pushers staying so I'm sure any size rig would be able to fit somewhere.Like most commercial RV parks, they are a bit crowded but I've seen worse. All sites are full hookups with cable. The parks wifi is usable enough for work and some streaming but it isn't lightening fast. Pretty typical, though. There are a lot of long term residents here but they're all very nice and the sites are all clean. The park puts a lot of work into maintaining the place and it shows. There is a well stocked camp store on site and laundry (half of the machines weren't working but several people said that is rare - repair services were on site for two days trying to fix them). The park is close to the highway but there is a noise barrier that helps cut things down. We weren't bothered by it and slept well. Two heated pools and a hot tub gained bonus points with us!It's worth the price to stay, especially if you have Passport America.

Unfortunately the cell network and wifi connection there is unreliable so we opted for Valencia Travel Village. We bought a Passport America Card for $45 USD and it gave us 50% off the regular price. The cell network coverage and included wifi coverage throughout the park was strong and reliable. That was the main reason we chose this park. The parks that have options for us to remain connected will always win over those that don't. It's 2018, and internet connectivity is a must for campers of all ages. The one down-side is the cost. Otherwise we loved it! It was well cared for and landscaped, with great attention to detail. The bath houses were clean and there were lots of amenities. We loved that there was a country store and that every site had picnic tables. We would stay here again.

The location is convenient: directly off of Why 126 between Santa Clarita and Ventura; just up the road the 5 freeway. Most shopping needs can be met in a 5-10 minute drive. The park is large and packed in tightly. When we parked in spot A-4, it was a last minute reservation close to Labor Day...these spots are close to the pool, but very narrow for a bigger unit like ours. There is really no patio area if you have a large RV. The second time we stayed in the K loop, which we have stayed in before. This is a great area...with nice large pool throughs and generous room in your site. Though there are many, many long term residents, these two sections are for visitors...so you don't have that weird vibe of having permanent neighbors, if you are camping or traveling. The pool, spa, playground and laundry are all clean and tidy. In the summer, the pool is the place to be. There isn't really anything in walking distance and if you like a daily run/walk....there is really no where to go other than making loops through the park. You will hear noise from the highways. This park is big rig friendly (K section).

Most are uncluttered but it feels like a trailer park in most sections.Sites are mostly level and the utilities work well. Tall trees provide some shade and in March didn't block our satellite. Swimming pools are nice. Staff are friendly and helpful and the grounds are well maintained. We had to move once during our one month stay, and much preferred our K15 site over the much tighter B-13. The best site in the park is K1 with a beautiful tree and large sitting area. Unfortunately no sites are guaranteed - but ask for it when you check in!The park is next to Hwy 126 so there is always some road noise. The park shares the property with a baseball field so there is some noise and bright lights - but how fun to watch kids play ball all weekend!!Good access with it's own signal light off the highway. The biggest ding is the multiple speed bumps that toss the RV side to side - why do they put those damn things in campgrounds??An hour from downtown L.A. during non-traffic times (not a lot of those any more), around the corner from Magic Mountain. The city of Santa Clarita has all services in a beautiful town. The Camping World has provided exceptional service to us more than once.Park WiFi is spotty, works better in the K area.

It admittedly wasn't our first choice because we didn't want to be far away from the theme park, but we were pleasantly surprised by this spot. Balboa RV Park was closed on January 1st so we couldn't arrive there that day--I'm thinking because they tow you in themselves. Walnut RV Park was booked, but they recommended Valencia Travel Village so I gave them a call. The gentleman who helped me book a reservation was extremely friendly and helpful. He eased my concerns about the traffic from Castaic to Universal City, and he was absolutely right. It didn't take us longer than thirty minutes each way, so VTV was very convenient and probably a lot quieter than being right in the city anyway. The park is surrounded by serene rolling hills and pretty skies in the morning and evening. They do pack in the campers tight, but we weren't there to hang out by the campfire and grill burgers outside on this trip. This was perfect for what we needed--free showers and a safe and clean place to park our traveling hotel room. The full hookups were a nice perk. There seem to be quite a few long-term guests, but all were as kind and friendly as the staff. Though the spaces are small, I feel the park puts forth a good effort in making it feel comfortable. The buildings onsite are all painted red with white trim, and there's a pretty white fence around the whole place. It's cozy and quaint. There are clean restrooms and showers, laundry, a convenience store, several pools but only the adult pool is open in the winter, a pretty dated adult lounge that I'm not sure what it's used for. There is a dog run, but we don't have pets so I can't comment on the quality of that. There are basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a community fire pit, shuffleboard, and a playground--none of which we took advantage but might have if we had been staying longer.Lastly, this park is literally around the corner from Six Flags Magic Mountain, so it would be the absolute perfect place to stay if you're visiting that theme park.

The park is very convenient to Six Flags (10 minutes) and the town of Valencia. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hot tub looked nice (although we didn't use it, it was frequently full of people). There's a decent-sized fenced dog area... it's long which is nice, but very narrow, maybe 15 feet wide. There are two on-leash dog areas (a grassy area near the tennis court and one near the office) but since the RV park is on a main highway, there's no place to walk dogs outside the park. Apart from the hot tub and tennis court, there's also a nice playground for kids. The park is pretty large, but 90% of it is occupied by full-time residents with the accompanying clutter, including many with tent-like carports set up next to their rigs, which detracts somewhat from the appeal. Our big complaint is that our site was extremely small... uncomfortably so for a week-long stay. Our camping side only had three feet of space before our neighbor's slide-outs were in our way. We found a section with much larger sites and asked if we could be moved there, and we were told those sites are for daily guests, not weekly. We would only return if we were going to Six Flags again, and we would just stay for a day or two due to the campsite size issue.
