I came to Big River RV park in the month of Feb, 2022. A short month with a price of 375.00 + electric. Divide 28 into 375.00 to see how much I paid for site #72. A short month with a price of 375.00 + electric. Divide 28 into 375.00 to see how much I paid for site #72. Keep in mind that it is always cheaper to stay a month than a few days. I’m sure a daily price is much higher.I saw that one review said it was an “OLD MOBILE HOME PARK”. In my experience, I saw no mobile homes. However, there are some Park Models. There are more RV’s than Park Models. This is not an RV resort. There is no pool, no sauna, no hot tub, no pickle-ball courts. There is an exercise room, Laundry facilities, Library and a tiny convenient store. There is ice for sale and reverse osmosis water for sale. There are showers and restrooms. The negative is that there is large uncovered garbage bins which when the wind blows, launches garbage out to blow along the hillside and park. There are dogs which are mostly kept on leash and are well behaved. One incidence where a dog that was leashed but not secured bolted toward my shihtzu and attacked. This was the dog-owners fault and not the park. There is UPS, FEDEX and USPS.I would stay here again in a pinch but not for longer than a month.

  • Very old mobile home park, not an RV park

We booked it for our winter stay based off the website. When we arrived it was VERY old, huge dumpsters overflowing, dogs barking everywhere while we walked around. There are no pictures on the website!! The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful as were some of the guests.

  • Price is right by river close to town
