It’s okay. Site is not quite level. Facility is okay but the proximity to the railroad makes for a tough night’s sleep. Also very close to a correctional facility so not exactly the safest place.

Looked to be picnic tables at each site. Pull through site #38 was easily accessible, good width, level and long enough to leave the car hooked up. Park isn't far off the interstate but didn't notice the traffic noise. Did hear the train whistle once in the night but that was the only time I noticed it at all. Didn't use the amenities but all looked to be in good shape. The only negative is that when we left, the back in sites at the end of the road where we needed to turn had several cars parked in front of their sites making for a tight turn. A 40' rig towing might not have made it. Would stay again.

  • Too much money for the lack of amenities

Electric and water available Very quiet at night Good location Great view of the road to Idyllwild from our siteCons: Bathrooms and showers closed ( not mandated to be) just the owners decision Could never connect to Wi-fi ( owner stated it was due to everyone using it) Pool was broken, but being filled while we were there ( too cold to swim anyways) Tent sites closed? There is plenty of room for social distancing, and if the pool is Normally open, why not the tent sites? Store very limited in supplies

We stayed here just for a night on our way up the California coast. Staff was great and the site was clean and level. It has a nice kids area, dog park and games. Sites are pretty close together, but it was quiet and people were respectful. The provided WiFi was so strong I was able to stream movies without a problem.

We found our gravel pull through site easily and hooked up without a problem. The campground was fairly quiet. No loud semi engine braking or airport noises. Just some railroad whistles throughout the night. We awoke to a very well kept and nicely maintained campground. We didn’t visit any of the facilities during our stay.

That poor town is suffering and the panhandler street folk don't help! Several store I tried to go to I was accosted by aggressive beggars who obviously had a buzz and wanted me to finance the next one. I love sharing with those that need a hand but groups of people hanging around drinking in front of the store asking for more...not gonna happen! Tried to go to Harbor Freight and a disturbed individual was acting bizarrely in front... the whole strip mall was suspect when I stopped to look.... 4th of July was a nightmare with fireworks going from 2pm till past 2am the entire weekend!BUT the KOA is removed from this (except fireworks noise)! If you're looking for a stop over or a home base for heading to the mountains this place will do you fine!

We stayed here one night in March in our Class B. The setting in beautiful - the backdrop of the mountains. The bathhouse was clean, and there was a grassy dog park. After the dust and grime of Phoenix, this site was green, clean, and restful.

The WiFi was pretty good and we were able to stream a couple of movies without much trouble although the speed was variable during the day. Laundry was very good with quality machines that all worked at a reasonable price.Very quiet except for the trains that run routinely about 1/2 mile away. The park is away from the freeway so no noise from that. Overall, a well kept park with nice grass areas. We would definitely stay here again.
