We only had 2 nights here. It was easy to get to, nice and clean, they have a fish pond, pool, hot tub being worked on, restaurant open on weekends. Phillip was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He offered many times to help us if we needed it. We would have liked a picnic table at our spot. However, We didn’t request he get us one either. Noise due to overnight spot near busy road.

This park is a diamond in the rough. It's one of the RV parks included with our Coast-to-Coast membership, so we only had to pay sales tax for the nights we stayed there (which amounted to about $7/day). The park is geared more toward a relaxed life style rather than the hubbub of a full featured resort - which we liked very much. The pond which gives the park its name is a stone's throw away from the RV sites and is a great place to just sit and enjoy the local wild life. The park is owned by a young couple who are extremely nice and helpful. There is also a small cafe onsite that is open Thur - Sat for lunch and dinner, serving a standard menu of burgers, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream, etc. Cell service is a mixed bag in this area. At our site, we had good Verizon 4G/LTE coverage and could stream video without buffering; AT&T service was ZERO at our site. In the town of Clinton, where the Walmart and grocery stores are, Verizon service was ZERO and AT&T was 4 bars! (that's why we have two cell phone carriers by the way).
