I wish I had read reviews before we went there. The spot next to us had a large dog chained up outside 24/7 that barked every time he saw us. We couldn't enjoy sitting outside due to its barking. You can tell the full timers from everyone else by the green moss growing on their trailers. The pound was noting more than a whole in the ground with slime in it. The kids playground should have been bull dozed years ago. Not sure if the owner is on property or not. The office smelled of mold. The guy that answered the phone kept having a second conversation with someone else about the size of some girls boob while on the phone with us. We hadn't been there a few hours before we started calling around to see if there were any openings, there were none so we ended up staying. Electric and water is located at the noses of the RV not the back, so hooking up can be a problem if your cords and hoses aren't long enough. Parking is an issue due to the cul-de-sac style layout. The wifi is nonexistent. We spent as little time there as possible. Will never go back.

  • Creepy, disgusting place way past its prime

Planned on staying 3 nights based on reviews, but only stayed 2 nights and 2 night was due to storms not allowing us to safely leave, place has gone way downhill in last few years. Creepy, dirty, disgusting place complete with scum pond. Barking dogs and stray cats... It may have been good years ago, but it has fallen into grim grimy disrepair. Stay in the State Park or In town, so many better options.
