Friendly offsite reservations. Sites not level, not maintained and not clean. Low hanging trees. Noisy with street, Tyson plant and train noise.

Rather odd check-in by phone. Handwritten warnings not to choose your own site. Assigned a site right at the entrance, literally on an old building slab, despite many vacant sites in nicer, quieter spots. Road noise, speeding pickups in park, early am garbage truck. About as peaceful as an interstate rest stop.

The friendly owner, Jerry, is not on-site, so registration is via phone. Admonitions on hand-written notes insist that you not park until he assigns a site. We were assigned site 3, literally on an old building slab, right at the entrance. Admonitions on hand-written notes insist that you not park until he assigns a site. We were assigned site 3, literally on an old building slab, right at the entrance. High road noise, speeding pickups coming in and out, early am garbage truck made it as peaceful as an interstate rest stop. A site further back would have been better - most were vacant. The place has unrealized potential, but needs improvements and onsite management.

We were staying at another park in NWA and decided to "preview" this one before committing to anything. Glad we did. Gravel spots with grass in between. Broken down vehicles. The entrance and exit are narrow and rough. Conveniently located just down the road from the jail and several bail bonds options.
