Bathrooms were dated but clean. Wifi in the laundry room only, but free. With your stay, you get free admission to the Flintstones Dino park and Raptor Demonstrations, we did not go but it looked fun! Across the highway is the Stones & More gas station… do yourself a favor and stop in. Very cool. The management was great, overall a fine place to spend the night.

The person on the phone was super kind and helpful, but other than that we weren't impressed. The sites were very close together and our neighbor's dump was right outside our back door. We did one load of laundry, which was $5 to wash and another $5 to dry, though the laundry room was clean. After we left for our original boondocking spot we stopped by to dump on our way out of town. It was $25, which felt like a rip off. The convenience store is well stocked for its size but also very expensive.

Despite being close to the road, it was quiet, and our hookups all worked well. Verizon signal worked well too.

My husband and I had planned to boondock in the National Forest for our visit to the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, the weather changed and snow was coming in and bitter cold for 2 days. Although we are completely self-contained; I did not want to chance being stuck in mud in the forest as the snow melted. I called Raptor Ranch and the lady answering the phone was very pleasant and told me there was room for our rig (a 40-foot motorhome). The office was open until 4 and if I arrived later to just pick a spot and pay in the morning (or pay in the envelopes at the office). Our site was a pull-thru with 50 amp electricity- the water is turned off for the winter but there is a faucet next to the dump station for potable water if needed. The park was quiet and very safe. Someone else complained of road noise- that was not a problem during our stay. The owners are falconers and have falcons, and hawks, and owls in a special area. The birds are in captivity- something that I am not in favor of- but it is very evident that the birds are well taken care of and that the gentlemen are very knowledgeable and committed to the care of their birds. This is a great place for a stay of one night or more. It is more or less a parking lot- but you have what you need and there are not many campgrounds around this area, The owners are working hard to make this park more appealing...a rock type base in the parking lot, picnic tables, and trees. If you are in the area stay with these nice folks. Easy access to Route 64. The office is the far left of the parking lot...under the sign "Raptor Ranch".We have a AT&T NetGear Night Hawk = and had very good service.

This place is pretty run down. The laundry is $5 per wash or dry. The WiFi only works in the laundry room, so don’t count on it. The road noise is loud. Our site was not level. We left after one night even though we had paid for 3.

Stuck to shoes and dogs paws. Office closed due to CoVid, so the whole place essentially looks deserted. Maybe during high season, it would be different, but we are not going back.
Ok to stay overnight. Staff is amazing.

No shade, wide open, and just off the main road. We did catch a wind gust that almost ripped the awning off of the motor home. The staff immediately came and helped me fix it. They were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The gift shop has water, ice beer and a few other nick nacks They have raptor shows several times a day which are very interesting. The Flintstone motif is a little weird but kind of fun. The Grand Canyon Inn is across the street and has a restaurant and bar. Not a bad place to spend the night about 25 miles south of the grand canyon.
