But the sites are larger than most, everything was clean, neat and well maintained, the staff is very friendly, and the power and water solid. The WiFi needs some work but the owner knows it and, this far out in the country it's just hard to get a good internet connection. The park is just a mile or so from Tombstone and they have a shuttle although we were here off season and parking downtown was no problem.

The gravel sites are level and spacious, and I had no issues with the hookups. The bathrooms are spotless. The pool is sparkling and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. Propane is available when I stayed for $3 per gallon, which is a very competitive price, and the gift shop seems well stocked and reasonable, offering a variety of RV essentials, gift items, and food. The internet and cell service is spotty, but that is not high on my priority list. There are 2 nicely maintained fenced dog parks and corrals for horses too. There is some road noise from Rt 80, but not noticeable inside the RV. Many sites offer shade from trees, with decent picnic tables and plenty of room to park a tow vehicle. I met some other very nice RV'ers, always a plus. For those not in an RV, the park offers cabins, tent sites, and a small hotel. I live just 40 minutes from Tombstone. This was my first stay at Tombstone RV Park but it surely won't be my last.

Apparently this park was in terrible shape a few years back but changed hands and is now the best park to stay in for a visit to Tombstone proper. The town is only about a mile south and on the weekends the park provides free transportation via a park branded minivan and a very nice lady. The sites were level (didn't need to block or anything). They have a couple of places to board horses, if you need that. The facilities (laundry, game room, free coffee, store, pool) were very clean and inviting. Games provided are shuffleboard, ping pong, corn hole, cards, and some game with golf balls tied together (I don't know what its called). There is a Circle K just as you get into town. The only con to our stay was the lack of broadcast TV channels available (but who goes to Tombstone to watch TV anyway??). Very nice people, very nice park. We stayed four days in a 31' class C and used all services.

Our site was not the most level I have ever been in but it was good enough. I will agree with Gigi's review below, there are lots of reality deniers here long-term and not a mask in sight, not even in the office. It is priced about right for a boomer-centric park in a tourist trap town, but the only amenities we used were the laundry room which was very reasonable at $1.25 a wash and $1.25 for 30 minutes of dry time. Cell service was extremely weak, as was the wifi, I had one bar on AT&T but couldn't make calls out. Skip Tombstone and go to Bisbee instead.

The excessive political signage was somewhat intimidating especially since the election has long been decided and concluded. Most of the view sites in the park are occupied by long term campers. Sites were fairly large and seemed to accommodate larger rigs with slides. Sites are Flat. with few trees, on gravel, very close to Rte 80 so there is consistent road noise. WiFi was erratic and unreliable, probably the worst experienced to date. Had to leave the site and drive to make phone calls. Neither Verizon or T-mobile worked for incoming or outgoing calls. Broadcast TV was quite limited (4 stations) again probably the worst we have experienced as full timers especially at a supposedly ‘quality park.’ There is a charge of $7 for a dog. The pool was not open. Bathrooms were dated but clean and fairly well maintained. Laundry was vintage priced well. Great ATV trails. Felt less than welcome from day one and cut our stay short.

Escort to the site to help with best route for angle of entry as wellbas suggested parking location (for T.H. and TowRig). Free firepit upon request ($wood). We used the 50amp service but not,the sewer or water. We had enough water for the weekend, and their restrooms were super close to our site (restrooms were part of the rec room and pool area) and super clean. Trash area was emaculate and the free shuttle drivers (into Tombstone 5minute ride) were great. We are looking for other reasons to visit the area just to stay here again. Verizon service was good, but WiFi was slow, phone kept timing out on websites.

Located only a couple miles away from Tombstone itself, but well worth the short drive after seeing the RV camps in town that are jam packed and no amenities; not to include a higher cost. This campground has great hosts, outstanding amenities and is the cleanest and most upkept campground I have ever stayed in. The prices are for full hookup sites and included an extra adult (nephew). The showers were impeccable and cleaned on a daily basis. Water pressure is a bit low, but did the job. The pool is nice and a welcome amenity after a hot day of sightseeing in the area. Located approximately 20 miles from Sierra Vista (WalMart/Lowe’s, etc), approximately 30 miles from Benson and 22 miles from Bisbee, and 45 miles from Parker Lake and Patagonia. The WiFi works well, but is not for streaming and can be slow when the campground is full. We have AT&T for cell service and it was sketchy at times, and great at others.

The folks running the park are very nice & accommodating & laundry facility was nice & clean. The wifi was shockingly good. There obviously were some long term residents, but their sites were decorated very nicely & not junky. We did not use the pool as it was quite chilly there in mid-February (our water line froze at night). Be sure to call ahead when making a reservation. This place was full all 4 nights we were there. I also highly recommend taking Dr Jay's walking tour of historic Tombstone. He & his wife were knowledgeable and totally delightful! It was $20/person for 90 minutes of pure entertainment.. The rate reflects our Good Sam discount with a dog.

We have our Rockwood Roo with us and had plenty of space. The only thing that's annoying is that they charge you for each extra person and dog you have with us. We only had one other person and our dog, but that's why they charged us $42 a night. Otherwise, I think it would have been $36 a night for 2 people. It was an additional $5 a person and $1 per dog per night. But, it's a large campground, yes, there were long term people here who were super friendly. Everyone working and staying here was friendly. Sometimes, that can just make your vacation! It's a short walk to town, only 1.5 miles, so if you can walk, that's great. Otherwise, they provide a shuttle for you. The campground itself is also very clean and well kept.Showers and bathrooms were clean, spacious. They have a rec room with a ping pong table you can play, and a kitchen, so if you wanted to have a party, you could use that space. I'm not sure if that cost more or not. They have several washer/dryers as well. The pool is heated during the winter months, and it was 85 when we were there, even though it got down to 40 degrees at night. You can rent a fire pit and they have wood to buy. The wifi does go in and out, but it works. Our arrival was smooth. They even called us about 5:30 to ensure we were coming as their office would be closing. We were just 5 minutes outside of the campground, they checked us in and guided us in our pull through spot.I didn't think there was ever any excess noise. The sites were clean, close to town, very large and comfortable. All in all, it's probably the best RV in Tombstone, and we loved our stay!

Whatever you do, don't stay at the Wells Fargo RV park down the road. The bathroom and showers were clean, the sites were decently spaced out for a private park. They have propane onsite, and a very small dog park. The location is top notch. Only a couple of miles from Tombstone. There's good hiking behind the park. Check out the trails on google map earth view and find your way around. Nothing is marked but the trails are good hard packed dirt for the dogs with no stickers for their paws. Now the negatives. The connectivity here sucks. The wifi wasn't good. It was barely usable. On the lower end compared to most campgrounds. There's no cable anymore even though they haven't lowered their prices. Voice on Verizon is ok but data about 1mbps d/l, ATT showed 1 bar but continuously dropped calls. Streaming only worked on T mobile due to poor speeds on Verizon but it was good on T mobile. There's a lot of long term residents here which normally drags down campgrounds, which was the case. All in all, the best choice for Tombstone. I would stay here again if I was coming back.Site accessibility (Camphost guided me in. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They greeted us at the entrance, checked us in and then guided us back to our spot and help get our rig situated in the site. The pool was heated to 85 degrees so we were able to swim even though it was Feb and the daytime highs were in the low 70s. They have cabins, a small motel and lots of things to do onsite. In addition to visiting Tombstone for all the attractions, we played ping pong in the rec room and tossed some horseshoes in the outdoor play area that also has swings, tetherball, etc. for the kids. Cell service was good on Verizon and marginal on AT&T. The Wifi is pretty good as they have several repeaters spread through the park. There are corrals for horses and cattle in the rear and the park grounds are really clean. Not much more than restaurants and entertainment businesses in Tombstone. (There is a Family Dollar). However Sierra Vista is only 16 miles away and they have everything you could want for groceries, shopping and dining. There is a hiking trail off the back of the park that leads to some petroglyphs. Our Good Sam discount came in the form of 7th night free and is reflected in the $33 per day price listed above.
