At that time, I booked a reservation only to arrive and find that the park had maybe <10 sites being used. So on the return trip, I just called as we got close. I was told that yes, they had a pull-through site for us and to come on in. Once we got there, something changed...I don't know if it was because I was wearing a mask or because the lady came out and saw that we were two women. But suddenly they had nothing available (note that between first stay and second attempt, the snowbirds had arrived and the place was very full. However, we noticed as we left that almost every overnight site was still empty and there seemed to be other sites interspersed -- maybe they did have those booked, but she was definitely ready to accommodate us until we got there. I found that questionable.Overall, the place is clean and has any amenity you would want for an overnight. I just wanted to convey our experience.

  • Convenient and VERY well maintained.

We did not expect the facilities to be as nice as they were. Very nice laundry facilities and common areas, including two off leash dog areas. One of the dog areas even had a large patch of carefully tended grass! My Tennessee dog was having trouble adjusting to the AZ environment so she especially appreciated the grassy park! The staff was wonderful and we got to enjoy a camp cookout one night while there. The sunsets are spectacular!

We stayed here in January, 2020 as a stop on our way to Yuma. Price reflects Passport America discount. Fairly standard RV park here, right off of I-8. Looks to be a fairly new facility so it looks pretty barren. They set us up all the way in the back in an area which is all gravel and fairly close to the truck stop. Between the Interstate and truck stop noise was a small factor.Having said that, the clubhouse building has a nice pool table and a good laundry room. The shuffle board courts are nice as well.Turned out to be a reasonably good place for a two night stopover. If passing through and needing a place for a night or two, we would stay here again.

The office staff was very friendly and asked me if we were members of Passport America and honored the Passport America half price offer. The park is very clean, the pull through sites are plenty long we have a 33 foot RV with a toad. It’s right off of the highway with easy access. I would highly recommend this park. Thanks

The park has a few full time residents, but there is plenty of room for transient campers. The only drawback is the adjoining truck stop, but there is very little noide from the traffic. This is a gem in the desert and only 30 miles from Yuma!

  • Excellent park & a real bargain!

This park is in Tacna, AZ which is 40 miles East of Yuma on I-8. It's a Passport America affiliate & I was only going to stay 2 days but learned it's only $250 / mo plus 17 cents / kwh for electric so I stayed. (Rate will be $265 beginning with the 2019 season)The park is seasonal & pretty well shuts down at the end of April but guests can stay if they'd like. There's a new travel center (not a chain) being built right next door which will increase the noise somewhat & trains run 24/7 about 1/2 mile away but rarely blow their horn. If you're a light sleeper this might not be the place for you.The water is fine for bathing & washing dishes but has a salty taste. There's a free reverse osmosis machine next to the clubhouse along with a nice laundry, clubhouse with lots of activities & the hosts are very nice. You can store your rig here in the off season for $25/mo but the sun will probably dry out seals, etc.Mail is delivered daily via your own mail slot & UPS/FedEx delivers to your site if specified. Otherwise it goes to the office & you get a notice in your mailbox. There's a nice little diner, a Mexican grocery store with a restaurant (good food!) and a Chevron with gas prices averaging 50 cents less than a larger town 12 miles West. A grocery run to Yuma is 80 miles r/t but there's no Costco in case you get your Rx there. If you have mail order Rx & it's a controlled substance you'll need to sign for it at the USPS which is 1/2 mile away.I'll be back next year.
