Snowbird West RV Park is an off grid campground that is open from Oct 1st to April 30th with no electric on site (Bring your solar) with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual pricing. All sites on the monthly/daily side are pull through sites, many pretty large. The largest of RV's can fit here. If you decide to make this your winter home, annual sites are available most around 1/4 acre in all kinds of different shapes and sizes. There is water at each site and a main generator is ran for 2 hrs/day (except Sunday) for the well pump so you can fill your water tanks. There is a main dump you can use on your way in/out or there is honey wagon (Petunia) that comes around once a week (2x during the peak) to empty your tanks for $4.00. There is a bathhouse with showers (only when the water is on), but the water is always hot with propane plus 2 washers ($.50/load) (cold water only). You hang dry. The park is able to receive USPS, UPS, & FedEx packages. There's a community mailbox in town where all mail packages for the park are received and volunteers daily go to pick up the mail for the park. There is a clubhouse that we meet in to hang out and can be rented out for a couple dollars an hour if you want to pay for the generator to be ran so there is power. There is a dumpster, but pickup is very irregular for it. The area is really quiet as there are no neighbors in sight around the park and great views in all directions. The sunsets are usually amazing! Cell service is good with all 3 carriers. The town of Salome is about 20 mins away where you will find a couple local restaurants, laundromat, cheap propane, and basic groceries at a small market, Family Dollar, or Dollar General. The park is very convenient to I-10 and about 45 minutes into Buckeye for big box stores. Phoenix is about an hour East of here and Quartzsite is about an hour West. Usually people share when they are running into town if they can pick up items for people. In the winter of 2020, a group of us that normally boondock were looking for a place to hunker down when Covid was pretty new and a lot of uncertainty on moving around all the time. We found this off grid park that only had a handful of full time residents and it was perfect for us. We call it boondocking platinum since we basically can make great use of our solar, but have unlimited water, get our tanks emptied, convenient resources like mail and garbage and a great community to hang out with. The last 2 years, a large group of Xscapers has taken over the park and created an awesome community of friendships and comradery. The Manager Ron is awesome and a joy to be around. If you have a large project to work on, this is the place to do it. There's always people helping others with projects on their rig, solar going on, lending tools, lending a hand. It's a very helpful community. As of the 2021/22 year prices are $10/night, $50/week, $130/month $700/year. If you are an Escapees/Xscapers member, there's a discount except for the annual price. If you get an annual site, you can have a storage shed on site or leave your RV here over the summer.

One can come for the night or for the year or like many people stay here for decades the park is actually open 7 months out of the year there's Snowbird season but if you rent space for the year you can leave your RV here have a shed so a lot of people have one or two sheds and a RV or two will leave their vehicles with someone as watchman year around.Places are Huge quarter acre or more park is surrounded by thousands of acres of desert but 1.5 miles from I10...There is water 2 hours a day there's a clubhouse, showers a dump station as well as a dump truck that will come to your sites for $3 each friday and we have a generator that runs electricity for the laundry room and the showers and the the clubhouse however the sides do not have power so you have to be there to run a generator most of us run solar everybody's really helpful and can help set up solar or give a guidance and whatnot
