Friendly and helpful managers. Well maintained. A few trees but no grass anywhere. All gravel, no dirt. This was good when things got windy one day. Large Landry room.

Both times the park was extremely accommodating to our needs. This park understands that the area they are in is a haven for active travelers, some like us have families and off road toys. They gladly accommodate needs for additional space with out any stupid “extra” vehicle or “extra” persons fees.We are 65’ long all hooked up and we have no issues getting in and around the park or getting backed into a space.

The park is designed so that sites are large, level, and easily accessible, and we could have parked in any site and still accessed our garage. There is reasonable spacing between the sites, trees planted throughout, and our utilities were easy to reach and worked perfectly. The CG includes a laundry, bathroom, rec room, outdoor patio, mini golf, horse shoes, etc. It’s clean, quiet, people are friendly, and there are tons of trails for dog walking. The property manager lives on site and really goes above and beyond to accomodate guests - we were escorted to our site, and she was always available for questions, etc. The park also encourages social camping with group events such as Bingo and pizza nights. The camping is close to hiking trails, the surrounding mountains, and only about 15-20 minutes from the town of Kingman, offering a number of grocery stores and most other amenities. They accept packages, and there is regular propane delivery. We didn’t use the Wifi, but Verizon worked perfectly without the booster. Many small details and the overall feel make this a great campground, and the manager is easily one of the nicest, most helpful people we’ve met in our travels. Obviously we would stay here again, probably will, and have already recommended it to others. Our average daily rate of $15 is a combination of their monthly and hold over rates plus electric.
$17.50 Passport America price. Nice park, wide spaces, fenced dog areas, some road noise.

Actual date of stay October 2018. Well-maintained park with easy access, friendly staff and several fenced-in areas for dogs to be separated while playing (nice touch!). The sites are wide, and we had 3 bars Verizon LTE.Close to Kingman and Route 66- The Hackberry General Store is a very cool stop.

First time in ages that we didn’t hear trains! We had a nice FHU site next to the office, restrooms, showers and laundry. Attractive and clean even with many full-time or long term guests. Trees are not large, and they don't interfere with getting into your campsite. Saundra, the host the first night, is so great to work with. She really seems to care, and is helpful to make sure you get into your proper site and situated. WIFI is a little weak at the campsite, but if you step into the office area, then it's just fine. The laundry facilities are clean, work well, and are a reasonable price. This park is 10 minutes from Kingman, which has most anything you might need. They have weekly rates, as well as monthly. We will definitely be staying here again. We stayed here in our 29' Stealth toy hauler, in April, 2018.
Great quiet park at a great price.

She is never in a bad mood, either, it's actually incredible. We left because Golden Valley can be a bit chilly and windy in the winter, went to Bullhead City where it's slightly warmer. That's an entirely different review - don't go where we went in BHC!We will definitely be back to Tradewinds and recommend it to anyone. Very affordable, no crazy rules, good residents, nice and clean, attentive maintenance, safe and secure, and just an all-around nice place to be.

Our FHU 50 amp utilities all worked well. Park WiFi worked most of the time for us.Small trees at each site offer minimal shade, and no obstruction for satellite. Level, easy access pull-throughs. Didn't use any amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some seasonal residents, all well kept sites. The community of Golden Valley is very spread out, but has few services. No grocery store and two small eateries. Kingman is about 10 miles with everything.Park sits on Hwy 68 but we didn't notice much road noise after dark. Looks like access for ATVs from the back of the park, but we didn't hear any while we were there.Day trip to Chloride to see the rock murals was a treat.
