The owners have done all they can to minimize the dust by laying down TONS of gravel and rock. The whole campground is well laid out with wide roads and lots of pull through sites that are HUGE. We were in an overnight section, the 600's, and parking couldn't be any easier. You have full hookups and your neighbor is a bit close but not to the point that you can hear them talking. We have two little dogs and we really appreciated the care they took to make dogs comfortable. No burrs from taking them walking, and actually made a grassy, shady dog park which is unheard of in our Southwest travels thus far. The bathrooms and laundry rooms were spotless, prices for laundry not bad. Cable tv is available and worked! The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is the lack of amenities attached to the campground itself. Note the local IGA has closed - nearest grocery store is either south to Ajo, or north to Buckeye. The staff and owners are friendly and they run a tight ship. Highly recommend if you are going through this area.

Every part of this park is exceptionally clean, and the sites are large. So, what sets this park apart… There is a nice dog park but there is an indoor dog wash AND a pet memorial rock garden. There is a fully working laundry at reasonable price, but there is an outdoor patio with comfy furniture and clothes lines and clothes pins supplied too. You can wash your RV at your site, but there is a separate area with a cement pad for vehicle washing. For those staying for longer periods of time, they have set aside the first Monday of the month as “Maintenance Monday” to exercise generators and have posted a list of other items everyone should check to keep your rig in good working order. Who does this???And the humor, Scott (owner) keeps the mood lite throughout the park. Outside the Ranch House is “Solitary Confinement for spouses that need a timeout”. Or having dog park corrals for “Non-Social Dogs and/or Their Non-Social Owners”. The various events are fun too, glad I went. What I am trying to say is that they tried to think of everything and are open to suggestions too. If you are in the area, this is THE place to stay.

Wow, this was literally like an oasis for us! We have never stayed at a campground like this before. We made a last minute reservation and got one of the last spots. When we arrived we were escorted to our site. The roads are paved and well maintained. No dust! Our site was a huge pull through with a decent amount of distance from our neighbors. The park was spotless, landscaping was beautiful, Staff so friendly, and the pool was the icing on the cake! The pool water was warm, the lounge chairs comfy, and piped in music. We took advantage of the laundry ( spotless), the bath house (also spotless) and loved the big library of books in the clubhouse. Plus we thought the rate was very reasonable for all the amenities available. Wish we were here for a few days but it is back to boondocking today (which we love) but a shower longer than two minutes is such a luxury!) we will definitely be back.

Dog park with grass and benches in the shade. Sweet! Received email from psrk advising campers participating in local Christmas parade and would be doing a stint thru the park. Fun to see the festive lighted golf carts. Good job letting campers know what was happening. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I checked Campendium without much hope, as we slowed for the Gila Bend exit that would take us north to I-10.I was surprised to see a highly rated park listed near me, since it was August, and still 100+ degrees after 6pm. Big Rig friendly RV parks in the desert normally shut down by May when the last of the Snowbirds head home. The Sonoran Desert RV Park was so close that we had pulled into the driveway before I could even call to check on a vacancy. The owner (Scott) answered, assured us he had a pull through spot, explained they offered reduced amenities during off season (no laundry or showers), and quickly checked us in over the phone. He led us to an immaculately groomed, long, level, gravel site, demonstrated how to control the night light in the pedestal, then asked if we’d like to use the pool (I guess I looked fried). He then left the pool gate unlocked for us until after we could use it! Good solid power kept our two rooftop AC’s humming all night and we slept soundly. Never heard any highway traffic or noticed the distant train track until I took my morning walk. Chatted briefly with Scott and Winston (his beloved golden Schnauzerdoodle (?), as they were passing in their work cart between chores. The use of desert materials, to create a colorful and inviting setting, is masterful. The dog park is the nicest and safest I have ever seen. The clubhouse, patio, and pool are perfect for group activities and events. All the fun amenities like a horseshoe pit, 3 hole putting & chipping green, and a bocce ball court definitely have us rethinking our winter destination plans. We will be back!

In summer, it is crucial to have full power for the A/C - it was 116 degrees when we arrived; so we opted for an RV park rather than our usual truck stop or Walmart. The manager was great. He called us several hours before our arrival to get an idea of when we would arrive. Upon arrival, we called the number posted on the gate and he came out to greet us (we didn't have to leave the RV). Then he escorted us to our site and made sure we knew how to hook everything up. He gave us some great tips about staying in the desert - like running the spigot before hooking up the hose to ensure there aren't any spiders in it. He also suggested keeping our slides in until after sundown to limit the square footage we were trying to cool down. I had originally planned on going to the pool but it was just too hot so I didn't check it out. The park looked very clean but bare-bones; gravel roads and slots and no shade. I noticed some train tracks nearby but didn't hear any trains while we were there. As a stop-over, it was great. In looking over the website, they have some great rates for snow-birds and the park is located outside of Phoenix yet close enough to enjoy the city during the day and the peace & quiet of the park at night. We live in New Mexico so won't take that advantage of that offer but wanted to make others aware of it that may be looking for a winter get-away.

I drove north for an hour before I finally had a good signal. I was in Gila Bend, so checked Campendium for recommendations. This place did not disappoint. Not only were both ATT and T-Mobile cell signals excellent, this was the best park WiFi I've had. I was able to do much of the meeting on WiFi, though I did have to transfer over to my hotspot a couple times. The park was very clean and very Covid safety conscious. Everything (check in, etc) was super organized. The sewer fitting at my spot was actually lower than my sewer pipe, which almost never happens at private campgrounds. (Who are the masochists who design most of these campsites?) Overall, a great place to stop for a night or two and get some work done while taking care of some chores. The seasonal folks staying here also seemed quite happy.
