Walking trails for the dogs, a grass area for them as wel (on leash), and of course being able to walk to Pipe Springs National Monument was nice. You will need your NP access pass or pay the fee (I think $10). Bathrooms and showers very clean. Laundry room looked great but didn’t use them. Can’t say enough good things about all of the staff. Very helpful and accommodating. We didn’t have a picnic table and they carried one to our site to share with our fellow traveler. Very kind. Passport America gets 50% off, for up to 7 nights, but know there is a $5/service fee charge. We paid $47.50 for 3 nights with our PA passes. So $15.83 a night. Still a bargain. Will definitely come back!

Hookups were great. Laundry facilities great. Excellent location for visiting Pipespring National Monument. Gas and convenience store very close. Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: the placement of hookups relative to parking position is poor. I had to disconnect and park behind my trailer in order to be hooked up and completely on my site. Wifi is poor. It looks like the park is setup well with repeaters but the source is poor. Looks to be direct TV satellite as a source. Even in the wee hours of the night, couldn't reasonably use Facebook and Twitter. Transfer rate (if possible to get a test signal) was 1.5Mbps. Not a fault of the park, but Verizon service is also very weak. T-Mobile non-existant for data.

The road and site were gravel and it was easy to navigate. Big clubhouse where the laundry, showers and restrooms were located. Very nice and very clean. Laundry was $1.75 and had 4 washers and dryers. There was a concrete pad under the picnic table which was nice. Fire rings were available in the common areas only. There is a small dog park as well. No OTA, wifi was only okay (really slowed down at times, but I was still able to stream some shows with a little bit of buffering.) Verizon had no signal at the park, but got one a few miles down the road. You can also walk from the CG to Pipe Spring National Monument, a cool old Mormon farmstead. One thing I didn’t like was the lack of any kind of reservation confirmation when I booked the park. Nice park and a great value.

What a nice campground! The staff is friendly. It is clean and looks like the electrical units have been upgraded recently. Bathrooms and showers are very nice. So nice to walk to the Pipe Springs Monument. Nightly rate is $25, but with Passport America - $12.50. Amazing for full hook-ups!

The price was an absolute steal at only $87.50 for the week. Holy smokes what a deal! Our full hookup pull-through site was gravel and mostly level. Lots of space between sites. Beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding cliffs. The electrical post appeared to be almost new and it had 30 and 50 amp plugs plus two 110 volt outlets. Very cool! On the downside, there was zero cell service for both AT&T and Verizon. Free wifi worked at the site but it was average at best. Not good enough for streaming but ok for checking email. Very clean private showers. Restrooms are not private but they were also clean. Didn't use the laundry room but the machines appeared to be in good condition. There is a wonderful walking/jogging trail that parallels the road. DVDs and books available in the office. Pipe Spring National Monument is within walking distance and it is definitely worth a visit. Chevron gas station down the street has more than enough space for RVs to fill up at the pumps. Kanab, Utah is also gorgeous and it's only about 20 minutes away. Overall we loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

We were here to tour the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It’s about an hour away, but a very scenic drive to get there. Everything worked with good internet service. Restrooms and showers are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Dana at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming. This place is the hidden gem of the North Rim. While it is supposed to be 107 degrees at home in Tucson, we enjoyed a comfortable 87 degrees during the day and high forties at night. Pipe Spring National Monument, (right across the road) is well worth the visit. We paid 12.50 per night with Passport America.

The staff members are very nice and helpful. The sites are pretty level and the utilities work fine. The showers and laundry facilities were very clean. There was no Verizon service and the park WiFi was spotty at best. One observation is that at the campsites there were open shallow trenches with black plastic pipes sticking out. The trenches appeared to have been there quite some time. The dog park is a joke. It is small and the metal fence bottom is high enough that my full size dog went under it. They need to fix that. As a suggestion, a long narrow fenced dog run would better serve the visitors. All that said, this is a great place to stay.

We discovered Kainab-Paiute RV Campground by accident when trying to make a reservation elsewhere. We loved staying in this RV campground. The tribe took a run-down older RV park and completely razed it and created a minimalist Southwest experience with red rock rodeways and RV sites with decorative rock borders. They have added native trees and vegetation and are planning to add more vegetation, a new pet area, a common area with tables and exercise stations. Several miles of trails afford walking options to nearby attractions and into incredibly scenic areas of the reservation. The park is very near to Pipe Springs National Monument visitor center for exploration of the history, geology & culture of the area. A delightful place to stay and staff are friendly and helpful. Restrooms, laundry and clubhouse are new and spotless. And you can’t beat the rate of $25/day!

They also participate in Good Sam (10%).We spent one night here on our way to Zion, but it's a wonderful stop on the way to the Utah parks or Arizona Navajo country. Pipe Springs National Monument is next door, and the park overlooks some beautiful mountains. The park Wi-Fi works very well.Lost one star because the sites aren't paved, but otherwise highly recommended!

This park is spotless with large pull thru sites.Great utilities and the best wireless we have had lately. The workers and camp hosts are great. The RV park is on the Kaibub Paiute reservation. The views are stunning and you can see the Pipe Spring National Monument from the campground. We had never heard of this Monument before but it was so interesting and the tour is only 30 minutes long with lots of good information. Don't miss the movie in the visitors center. Also, you can get in free with your America the Beautiful pass. The RV park is immaculate. The main building, where they take reservations, is very large .It has a kitchen they will let you use if needed and at the back of the building is a huge covered pavilion with picnic tables and two propane fire pits you can use. This building is where the bathrooms, shower and laundry room are located. They also have a DVD lending library and board games to borrow. You have a code that gets you into the back door to use these facilities. The 4 private showers are like home showers. The laundry room is great. 4 washers @ $1.75 a load and 4 dryers @ $1.75 a load with a large folding table. Again, so clean. Each tent in the tent area is separated from the next one by enough space to park a car. They have railroad tires surrounding the area where you actually put your tent with a picnic table in it and also a fire pit. There is a dog park area with real grass! There is no cell signal here. We didn't miss it since we emailed our kids and told them to do the same to us if they needed us. The restaurant Flying Grill, about 1/2 mile away, is fantastic and so reasonable.

The staff are over the top accommodating, fullhookups (everything worked), blazing fast internet, absolutely spotless showers and restrooms, spotless clubhouse and almost all pull through gravel sites that can satisfy a big guy and a toad. We are 52 feet with truck attached and had room to spare. Whole place was nature quiet and very peaceful. This WILL be one of our go to stops enroute to AZ for the winter. Price reflects Passport America.

Nice small laundry room and clubhouse with big TV, kitchen, and ping pong table. We enjoyed walking to the nearby gas station and restaurant and saw a coyote one day on our walk. Pipe Springs National Monument across the street was a great stop as well! Zion National Park is an hour north of here, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 80 miles away. If we are in the area again, we will stay here! Blog post https://thefree.family/2018/06/07/fredonia-az/

The North & South Rims are for certain beautiful, but when you add in the people it is a nightmare. This is what impressed my wife and two dogs when we pulled into the Kaibab Paiute Tribal CG, the separation of the sites was a DELIGHT and we didn't have to worry about our DVD sound affecting others in the CG. The facility is excellent compared to almost any other facility we have been camping at over the last 6 years. I was impressed with the clean, well designed and implemented hookups; for instance all the distances from the hookups connected and were of top quality. The indoor facility has been designed for the Customer as the large screen TV, ping pong table, dominoes table and office make for a most friendly environment. Then one looks down the hall off the game room and there are 4 showers with beautiful tile and cleanliness matched by no RV facilities we have been to. The laundry room has 4 brand new washing machines and dryers that cost $1.75 for each machine. The play ground for both kids, dogs and adults is a grass covered filed some 50' by 100' area with potty bags and containers available for dog pickups. Very nicely done!We came to the area via Campendium and a phone call to the CampGround person at the desk, who was most courteous and helpful. When we arrived we found another individual that was also courteous and helpful, who explained and showed us all of the facility. Our particular trip this Spring 2018 was only 6 weeks long and we have NOT been impressed with almost all of the RV Parks we have planned on staying at; a lot of this is due to the fact that they DO NOT have WiFi!! The Kaibab Paiute Tribal CG & RV has one of the best, if not the best and fastest and FREE, of all facilities we have visited over the last 6 years! This includes our 5 month trips to Canada and the Pacific NW.Truly was a great pleasure to visit and stay at this facility!! Vic & Joy & Klondike & Atlin

That’s half the standard $25 rate = $12.50/night for full hookups!!! We use 30 amp but 50 amp is also available.Spots are wide open with expansive views. Many are pull-through’s and although there is minimal vegitation between sites there is plenty of space between rigs. Sites are gravel and ours did require some leveling. We had no service with T-mobile or AT&T, but park wi-fi reception was good. Download speed was 8 mbps which is quite good for trailer park wi-fi and suitable for streaming, but upload speeds were a poor .5 mbps. The laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers were immaculate. The park is 50 miles from Zion, but those were some of the prettiest 50 miles you could want if you come in from the East. All in all we were very pleased with the park and thought it was a steal. I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t full, but there was plenty of room.

If you’ve never heard of UEA weekend it’s a Utah Teacher In-Service day (Friday) in October which means every Utah public school has at least a 3 day weekend if not the whole week off for fall break. Parks and campgrounds in the state are mobbed. We figured we’d have to do some dispersed camping on BLM land and listen to the ATVs. Then we found the review for this campground and decided to see if they had space. Tonight there are only a handful of rigs and 2 tenters in the park. The location is fairly convenient to Toroweap, North Rim Grand Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante and several other attractions in southwest Utah. Zion is only about 50 miles away but we won’t go near it on such a busy weekend. Pipe Spring National Monument is just down the road. It’s a small monument commemorating Native American, Mormon and other explorers of the area. The 3 star rating for site quality is due to Goat’s Heads (puncture vine) which have prickles that get stuck in shoes, stuck in dogs paws and generally make walking miserable. The staff is busy trying to manage them with flame throwers but it’s a tough fight. We’ve encountered them all throughout Arizona. Other than that the campground is in pretty good shape and the staff has been extremely attentive and helpful. Sites are gravel and most are level or very close.

Looks like this campground is pretty new and they are still putting finishing touches on it (as of April 2016). Only a few sites had picnic tables and fire rings. All sites are gravel & pull-through, but turns might be tight for larger rigs. Sites have 30 and 50 amp service, water & sewer on new concrete aprons. There is a large building with shower stalls and laundry, but it was closed at the time of our visit. Presumably it is open when the campground is busier.Check in and pay for your site at the Chevron Station on the corner of Pipe Springs Road. Cell service is very marginal for data unless you have a booster. The closest towns with grocery stores and laundry would be Kanab and Hurricane.
