This is a very small and older park. The people were very friendly and welcoming. I liked our site. The dairy air happened occasionally which was really the only negative I can say about the park. It is about 10 miles outside of Casa Grande. We came at a time when the park was not busy. 10/8 to 10/17/2021

The entire town is subject to not only the wafting ammonia of nearby "cowtown" (50,000 cows), but also the vast expanses of cotton fields with nightly burns & frequent early-morning crop dusting with toxic chemicals. Headache for days and must cut the month-long stay short. Not to mention that 100+ degree days are impending, and only about 2 of the over 100 sites here have a tree for (partial) shade. Sites are clean and the park is well-maintained.It's very quiet at night, but don't expect to have any windows open to try and cool off, unless you have no sense of smell, or don't mind breathing toxins. This location is not for anyone who appreciates fresh air!Upside: The park itself is full of friendly Escapees.

You need to be a member of Escapees to overnight in this park. Weekly rate is $110 plus electric which includes full-hookups. Daily rate is $20 for full-hookups. We loved that they even had a paper shredder! The park is about 8 miles outside of Casa Grande where you can find grocery stores, coffee shops, shopping centers, and more. AT&T was 1-2 bars LTE, no Wi-Fi available, and several Over the Air TV channels (English). Our hot spot with a MyFi antenna gave us a decent speed. We would stay here again.

  • Good basic place for a short stay in the Casa Grande area

What we found was yet another very nice and quiet SKP Park full of incredibly friendly folks. This is apparently the oldest SKP coop park so the sites are pretty small by modern standards. For some reason the residents have not done much to landscape their sites over the years so there is no privacy, no shade and no “cute factor” to any of the sites. We stayed in the boondocking section which costs about $5 for the first night with the second night free! That’s not a lot to pay for a safe and level site. The park is very clean and well maintained. There are no amenities such as a pool but there is a clubhouse where there is something going on almost every day. It is possible to rent one of the full service sites based on availability when the owner of the site is not in the park. Verizon Internet was very fast. Beware upon entering the park there is an extremely sharp right turn (almost a U-turn) so I would recommend unhooking any TOAD before entering the park. Fortunately, there is a perfect spot on the left side of the road shortly after you exit I-8. The road in front of the campground is not very busy making access to this unhooking area very easy.

  • Great, super nice staff.

Not much you can do about that either. If you are coming in from the interstate be aware you really need to take the turn wide as you need to basically make a u turn to go to the office. I missed it and had to go down another road and walk to the office. Again not horrible but just a heads up. My site was decent enough and they do escort you to the location. Roads are all paved and this is nice albeit they are pretty narrow. Cell service was decent and I had no problems with connecting and streaming. it is not that far from town and plenty to do there including lots of restaurants and shopping.
