My favorite thing about this site is it is perfectly flat. It looks like they have done a nice job leveling the sites.

We stayed here going to AK from VA and we made a point of stopping here for a few days on our return leg. Tok is an interesting little town. Make sure you stop by the shops in town and spend some time with the locals at the lodge bar.

It's quiet and woodsy with spacious sites offering lots of privacy. The restrooms were clean, and the hot showers were delicious after 2 weeks off the grid, with plenty of pressure. The park is a little dated and the site pads and picnic tables could use a refresh, but the friendly new managers are aware of this and investing in upgrades, including improving cell coverage. They were very helpful when we needed to have a spare part delivered to physical address, even when I changed our arrival date three times. There is a laundry and car wash onsite, also a lounge for a place to relax and have a drink. We loved our site, 41, which was at the end. Our view out the windows was nothing but trees. We would definitely stay here again.

It is not crowded because of its location, each site is separated by trees, the showers/restrooms are nice and there is a paved bike path into town. The only drawback is that the (pretty fast) internet is only available at the campground office, but they have TV and good seating in the office.
