Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving, and 2 days into our 3-week stay, it turned into a daily onslaught of harassment from both Steven and Yvonne via text, phone, and in person. They constantly showed up unannounced, texted incessantly, creepy lurking and spying by the older male owner...he made it very uncomfortable for a single woman staying here. It's very sad and deplorable that the owners would treat a single mother and her son and puppy in this despicable manner. What kind of people kick a harmless single mother and her young son out for no reason with zero warning, and what's more, after 3 weeks of incessant harassment?! On top of all of this, the owners constantly violated our personal space and social distancing standards during COVID, not okay! Shame on Paradise. Do NOT stay here more than 2 days!

  • Relaxing and refreshing.

Although there are small planes flying over, it is s peaceful setting out in the farm lands near Palmer, surrounded by mountains. Lovely Landry and shower facility, new fixtures, very clean. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

  • Great - with full hookups!

The park is close to the local (small) airport. There are small planes making use of the airport, but that stops during nighttime hours. Besides, we enjoyed watching the takeoffs and landings, and all the skydiving activity.

  • Enjoyed the place so much, we stayed here coming and going

Helpful and friendly owners live nearby on the property. Excellent free wi-fi, showers and laundry facilities. Sites are all grass with a common gas BBQ and fire ring. Easy access for big rigs; all sites are back-in. Full service. Micro-brewery within walking distance; Palmer “downtown” is a short drive. Palmer itself is convenient to seeing many great sites in Central Alaska. We cut our stay in Anchorage short and stayed here instead on our way to Denali, liking the campground and area so much that we extended our stay and also returned to this RV campground on the way back from Denali. Matanuska Glacier is an hour away, Chugach and other hiking is nearby, restaurants and groceries in Palmer and more in Wasilla. Only negatives (which didn’t bother us, but I mention them for the more sensitive and are the reasons for my 4 stars on site quality and noise): occasional small plane overflights from nearby municipal airfield; no screening between camp sites. We would gladly stay here again.
