This is a nice simple campground. We used it mainly to leave our RV and ride up to Coldfoot for a few days. You definitely don't want to bring your camper up the Dalton! The lady running the campground was lovely. I had great conversations with her. The showers are clean (but very hard water). The only issue we had was that nothing got mowed. You have to walk through knee high grass throughout the campground, therefore there isn't much definite site area when you park and no numbers to go by. I would recommend this CG to anyone traveling the area but be aware there is all the truck noise from the Dalton!
Quiet campground, delightful owners

The campground is just North of Fairbanks in Fox - close to the starts of both the Elliott and Steese Hwys. There are no site numbers, you just choose one that is available. Each “lane” is 2 sites so if you are the first person, you need to make sure that you pull through enough that someone can camp behind you. If you are in a bigger rig, you will want to unhook your toad. There was greenery in between “lanes” that provided some privacy. We had full hookups (50 amps) and the site was level. We had 1 bar for AT & T. There was recycling. The water is very full of iron - enough that topping up our water tank left notably discolouration in all of our water. We completely drained the tank shortly after to avoid stains. There is an artesian well type of fresh water supply less than 1/2 mile up the road from the campground. The owners were very friendly and interesting to talk to. They gave us lots of suggestions for excursions as well as great background on the area. The campground had definite character.
