It was a little hard to figure out which left turn lane to use to get in, and the Heritage Acres sign is easy to miss. The road to the park entrance is also sort of rough and skinny, so take your time getting in. We liked that we could book and check in online, and even pick our spot ahead of time. When we pulled in, there was a rig already parked in front of the office, so we went ahead and parked in the spot we’d confirmed online, then walked to the office to check in. We didn’t use the bathhouse or laundry facilities so can’t attest to the cleanliness of those buildings, but the park overall is in nice shape. The dog park is along the wood line and there are plenty of spots to drop doggie bags. There’s also a large field for dog walking, which would be great for dogs that need a little more space to run (it’s not fenced in though). We didn’t have much time to explore the area, but it sounds like the park is well-located to see some of the local sites.Site 47 is a standard pull-through spot. We had full hookups including cable. The park is mostly gravel with grass and nice brick pavers separating each site. Once the trees grow up a bit more, this will be a nice spot (just don’t think your rig will be in the shade while you’re here!). It was mostly big rigs, but there were a few other smaller ones like us (21’ travel trailer).

  • What a nice find!

Park is back off the road a bit so noise not much of an issue. Mostly gravel (you will get a bit dirty) and very wide interior roads (much appreciated). Impressive – every site appeared level or mostly level! Decent amount of space between most sites with some grass and small bushes/trees. Lots of long term (which are closer together) but they all appeared tidy. We were in a premium (and seemingly fairly new) site which was concrete and pretty darn level. Cool little setup with a picnic table, cafe table set, charcoal grill (think state park), attractive rock fire pit and fancy outdoor lighting. They have cable but we didn’t use it. The WII FI was very slow so we used our hot spots. Verizon 4g 3 bars. Full sun so satellite would not be a problem. WII FI not so good in our site so we used our hot spots. We were advised to check out the bathrooms – so we did :) They are fantastic and appear brand new! Two individual rooms with modern tiled walls, floors, and shower. And it is a party shower – it is huge! Sparkling clean with simple touches of decorations. Touch-less soap and paper towels. There is a splash park and playground for those with kids. We would definitely stay here again especially if we could have the same site (83).

Very quiet. Very clean. Bathrooms (per wife) were spotless. Lots of seasonal/annual campers, lots of pull behinds, 5’ers. All clean and well maintained. Interior back-ins about $30/nite, we picked a Premium site ($53 after Good Sam discount) very level new concrete, pull thru, landscape new, stone squares for site lites, tons of water pressure, cable tv clear as bell, best WiFi we’ve ever had in RV park, zero problems with power, sewer. Propane sales. Small camp store, more outbuildings under way. Site had fire pit, small wine/coffee table & 2-chairs, new picnic table. We visited in 37’ class A, no tow’d. We would definitely stay again!

It is basically a gravel parking lot with spaced out services, 4 pull thru's and about 50 back ins. I had a pull thru with FHU, cable and WIFI. The WIFI password is different for everyone there. There was no grass, no trees for shade (in July). It was far enough from the 4 lane highway to be quiet. There was a laundry (in repair) and a restroom/shower building (didn't go in it). It would have been nice to have a place to put some chairs out and relax but since it was nothing but gravel that didn't happen. Good Sam gave it a 9.5, I don't know how that happened, no swimming pool, no playground. Web page www.heritageacresrvpark.com
