We full time, spent 3 winter's; Nov- March here, before moving back to Table Rock Lake for summers. Highway noise can be a factor if you're used to peace and quiet, but after a week, it blends in. Management for most part has been pro active for any complaints, problems, emergencies, including texting heads up for water repairs etc. ...moreWe full time, spent 3 winter's; Nov- March here, before moving back to Table Rock Lake for summers. Highway noise can be a factor if you're used to peace and quiet, but after a week, it blends in. Management for most part has been pro active for any complaints, problems, emergencies, including texting heads up for water repairs etc. Big, decent storm shelter. Biggest downers are laundry/bathrooms could use a teardown and remake. Sharing an electric and water access can be problematic too, be prepared to need extra power cord and water hose to reach on some sights. Quiet, helpful neighbors and long term residents.

We stayed here for 90 days while our new home was being built. FHU with 50 amp service for $395/mo including electric. Not a resort, but adequate for what we needed. Noise from the highway was not an issue.

I hope to never have to stay here again. Extremely loud road noise on Rt 60. Lots of tractor trailers, dump trucks with jake brakes, loud motorcycles just yards from you all day and night. Pulling out or traveling East can be dangerous. The laundry/bath house is dirty, not cleaned often, no hand soap in one of 2 bath rooms and VERY hot...moreI hope to never have to stay here again.
