But my experience tops them all.If anyone has ever stayed in this campground you are aware of the huge speaker system on the roof of the general store office that the owners use for announcements to the entire campground - yes the entire property - it's that loud! God forbid you might be napping when this thing goes off. You will fly off the bed. It looks like a war surplus air raid siren and it's just as loud. On this night 10/24/2020 it's a cool night and all the RV's have their windows slid open. It's been cloudy so with the sun starting to set it made it prematurely dark and it's very peaceful as advertised. Suddenly, there is a blast of noise that sent everyone asking "What the hell is that?"The management of this campground decided to crank up the loud speakers to max volume with Halloween theme music at 5:30 in the afternoon. My campsite being only 100 yards from the office, I was subject to OO EEE OO AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BING ringing in my ears. I endured this abuse for an hour hoping it would end until it didn't and I reached my boiling point.. At 6:30 I went to the office and told the attendant how stupid - how ridiculous - how annoying this music is for the campers - along with some well deserved expletives while explaining just how ignorant the management of this park must be. "I'm trying to have dinner with my family at the picnic table and we can't hear each other speak!" and I had more expletives for the campground owners who soon descended on me. Long story short - the owners dug-in and said they will play their music as long and as loud as they want to. They said it's a special event of their Halloween Week for the kids although there wasn't a kid in sight and by now it's 7:30 and pitch dark. Halloween is next weekend anyway but the music continues. Complete BS.They left me no choice but to call the local cops to site them for disturbing the peace. That was a waste of time. This is one-horse town - one stop light anyway - the cops are their pals so the cops were useless saying that management can do whatever they want to do and I can leave if I don't like it. Dedicated servants in action! If any of those cops were on a camping weekend with their family and some moron started blasting music into their windows they would do something about it. Cops are supposed to ask the person behind the music to lower the volume for the sake of others around him. These cops know that, but evidently this particular moron is their backyard buddy playing the music.Long story short - the cops told me the owners want me to leave and I have no choice. The cops stood watch over me while I packed-up my RV and followed me off the property with a refund for the night that I never got to enjoy. And the music was still blasting away.as I drove out the front gate and down the road.So if you are thinking about staying at this campground I would think twice. What I have said and what the other reviewers have said is absolutely true. There are much better campgrounds with better management out there.

Open skies for our satellite.Nice pool, laundry, showerhouse.Unfortunately there is no quiet time and campers take advantage of it. Loud parties, lots of drinking, camp fires all going until 1 AM! People yelling from one group to another across the campground late at night. We're all for people letting off steam at the end of their work week, but this was the worst we've had in three years and 35 states.This was post-Labor Day so few children, who were all quiet and respectful playing on the grounds. The adults could learn from them.

Safe..peaceful..my site was near field & pasture..love seeing the cows ..hearing the farm animals. The family atmosphere is. Comfortable setting and felt like everyone knew you. Clean, clear pool, close to stores. I will come back.

This place is run by nice people. It's nestled in what I'd call "The Heartland of New Jersey." Surrounded by farms and beautiful nature (YES New Jersey is FULL of that if you know where to look), a vineyard, a 6 mile hiking and biking trail, and forests, Old Cedar is a great place to stay.We paid for two months, but when we had to leave early, the campground refunded the unused portion of our second month—didn't even give us a hassle. The campground has a pool, a lake, tennis courts, shuffleboard, a big pavilion, and two shower houses. There's a store with basic supplies and even a movie "rental" service. We traded one of our old, already watched movies and then were able to take out movies from their library and return them at our leisure. There are big fields of bell peppers leading into the camp. Once there, you'll see the campground is bordered by a farm full of grazing steers. We had full hookups at our site. Plenty of dumpsters, so it wasn't a long walk to throw away trash. You can actually walk to the nearby Monroeville Vineyards via trails through the woods and farm fields on site—or ride your bike via similar trails right to the Elephant Swamp Nature Trail, and then proceed to bike to nearby Elk Township or Elmer, NJ. Free wifi, got spotty when camp was full on weekends, but usable most of the time.

Sine then we've been back a number of times in the last two years. We were parked up to the fence the first few times were were here, then they moved the fence. Now what used to be a back in is a pull through. Never had power issues or water pressure issues. yes there is a campsite with a Confederate Battle Flag. but the people seem to be just fine. They have a nice pool. The there is a path through the woods to the winery next to the CG. They were having music on Saturday nights, I understand they may start that up again. This CG is in the country and is a CAMPGROUND, not a RESORT. If you get that then you won't likely have issues. We started camping here because we like to go to Cowtown Rodeo once a year. The Jellystone over in Elmer was good, until they stopped having late season rates in September. We found this spot and will be back once or two weekends a year.

Here are the problems with this particular campground.POWER PROBLEMS: We have a 40-foot motorhome and got a 50-amp full hookup site. Once a day, the electricity would cut off. We have a power protector type thing, so I'm not sure if it's due to power surges or due to low power. It was super annoying to come back home after a day out to see that the motorhome was hot, and the laundry we put in before heading out was stopped midway through the process. This alone takes the campground to 3 stars.LOW WATER PRESSURE: We stayed the weekend AFTER Labor Day. The campground was HALF EMPTY, yet there was random low water pressure in the middle of showers. Unpleasant.LOW GRADE NEIGHBORS: This is one of those campgrounds where people literally live. Multiple decks and fixtures alerted us of this. One of our neighbors had a sign that proudly alerted us of their "Trailer Trash" status. Another neighbor had a confederate flag put up on a pole. As a minority, these things did not make me feel welcome. Once, while driving back into the campground, someone yelled at my husband that he was driving too fast. He was at MAYBE 7 mph. I think that fellow was drunk. I didn't expect this type of behavior in the North.BUGS: We were literally parked up next to a farm with cows and corn. With cows comes manure, and with manure comes tons of bugs. It was unpleasant sitting outside due to the bugs, and they made their way in the Motorhome as well. Additionally, we kept the gray tank valve closed because I noticed that sewer flies were coming up through the shower when we had it open. This place does NOTHING for pest control.POOR GUEST TREATMENT: The reason I am giving this place a 2-star instead of 3-star rating is because we had some friends come visit us. There is a sign that says guests need to stop at the office. What I did not realize was THEY WOULD CHARGE MY GUESTS A FEE. My guests were literally here for 3-4 hours, tops, and they were surprised to be charged $8. When my guest asked what he was paying for, the clerk had no answer but said he could get his money back if he stopped at the office on his way out. Wow. I was really embarrassed about this.So, my advice is to avoid this campground altogether. Nothing about this place is spectacular enough to merit the weaknesses.
