I'll probably get flamed for this, but I didn't enjoy this resort even though there are dozens of 5 star reviews on google. Yes, it's clean and well maintained, but that's all it has going for it, unless you're a boater or fisherman. It's sterile and boring. There is no OTA tv reception, no cable and the WIFI is unreliable. What this causes is the use of hotspots to stream media, which makes it difficult to access the net to do any useful work. We didn't see the club house, thanks to covid and couldn't use the pool for the same reason.There's a ten mile long road to the resort which has two small lanes. The nearest town is 13 miles away. Huntsville is an hour away. If you do visit, bring your own outside table, because the sites don't have any. Be prepared to drive your trash to the dumpster behind the club house. There's no pickup.
