They escort you to the site to ensure everyone’s safety. Small fishing pond on property, miniature golf, bikes and a pool. All appear to be free. They have a walking trail that runs about a mile. One nice feature that appeals to me are the tall mature shade trees all around. Just outside of Knoxville, IL, with a couple of places to eat there. It’s a 10-minute drive to Galesburg which has many more choices for food and drink.

Big beautiful trees for a shady camp. Clean campground, well kept landscaping, clean laundry, gravel drives and sites. Gravel is a little dusty, it's been ground to dust in some spots making for a dusty campsite. This is like a 3-star hotel. Clean, safe, good service. I give it 5 stars because it met my expectations, which was not Glamping. BTW, the freeway is less than a mile away, I could hear the subtle roar all the time but it was tolerable. I slept well with earplugs (as I always do). Great wifi and AT&T LTE.

  • Friendly and manicured

Everything was neat, clean and tidy. Very family friendly. They had Halloween events for the kids, miniature golf, a pool (closed for season), bikes and other toys for kids to borrow along with a really nice playground. The only thing that would make it better would be to be located next to a lake or river.

  • Family oriented kinda KOAish

Has large ceramic psychedelic frogs in front. Playground, min golf and a pool. Very friendly lady at checkin. As an overnighter, she put me in the closest site to the exit, flat as can be, no unhooking or leveling. Off I74 far enough to not hear it. Mostly permanent party campers in big 5th wheels. I had a site on the south end of the campground but could not get a DISH signal.

This campground was probably a KOA at one time but now appears family owned. Folks were very friendly and helpful. Got us into the flattest pull through so we didn’t even disconnect. Decent wi-fi, pool, nice shade trees. Looks like a fair number of permanent/seasonal but friendly vibe. Easy on/off the highway. We’d definitely stay again!

  • Nice little park. Convenient off of I74

Stayed there for one night. Folks are friendly. All spots are under big shade trees. Little to no noise from the highway. Good Verizon and AT&T speeds. Verizon 6.25mbps down and AT&T 15mbps down. Satellite usage will depend on where you are in the park. We were on the wes side and still able to get a signal through the trees.
