After looking into parks/campsite all within a 2 hour drive of Madison. This was the place to come. The reviews were exactly the kind of place we were looking for. When I say it’s everything as described, it is. The grounds are extremely clean from bathrooms, pool, laundry, etc. peaceful beyond belief. Everyone was sweet to our family! We picked some apples and pears off the trees near our site (B1). Our boys had a blast in the pool, playing in the horse shoe pits, going on their hike on the trail, making s’mores, eating outside. This momma and daddy are going to cherish this memories forever. Rick was super helpful with whatever we needed. About to check our calendar to see when we can make a trip back. We are in love! Thank you for such a sweet spot and a much needed break away from the quarantine life! We were able to social distance and still feel like we were away on a vacation! Our boys are exhausted, sad to leave, and happy to have had so much fun.

The bathrooms are very clean with large showers and the laundry room has nice machines with magazines and books to read as well as a change machine that works!!!!!!! It has excellent cell signal. It also actually does have wifi! We haven’t been Rving very long but so far it’s been our experience that most campgrounds state they have WiFi but they always seem to be right in the middle of upgrading or repairing it. Lol. The only negative thing I can say is that we didn’t have reservations and when we first pulled in the man who works in the office came pulling up on his golf cart and was kind of rude and not very welcoming. However a couple days later we ran into the owner and he was super welcoming and friendly.

  • Great place to stay awhile, especially if you like to fish.

You can purchase propane. There are hiking trails just behind the camp. The owners said there is good fishing in the area. Reasonable rate of $30 per night, includes tax. There are restaurants, fast food, grocery stores & gas within 5 miles. The is a cell tower on their property, so reception was great for everything but T Mobile. We would definitely stay here again.

We've had a great stay here, it's our second time and we are staying long term for now. The RV Park is very well maintained, you can tell the owners love to garden, with Koi ponds and butterfly bushes around the park. The park has lots of pine trees which gives it a campground feel, but it's still close to town. The laundry room and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. They are very responsive to voicemail inquiries and will do their best to accommodate guests. There is a pool, horse shoes, rec room, laundry, and propane refill. Excellent phone signal because there is cell tower in the park.Guntersville is a nice little town 45 minutes from Huntsville, AL.5 minutes to Piggly Wiggly10 minutes to Publix 5 minutes to boat launch
