Basically they took a field and made lots out of it. Roads are sand with horrible ruts in them. A lot of long term people there of questionable character. Made sure everything was always locked up tight anytime we left our site. People next door drunk all the time, other side had the Sherrif’s department out for a domestic assault and hauled him away. Please see photos of our lot that we pulled into. The owners are very nosy, was told you “have to tell them if you go somewhere with your trailer for a couple of days” otherwise they will rent your space, even if you’ve paid for it weekly/monthly. Got questioned where I was going, why was going, etc. Like I am a grown ass person, I don’t need to tell you jack!!! Owners were very hostile and stand-offish. If you like hillbillies at their finest then this is the place for you. DO NOT GO BY THEIR PICTURES on their website they’re very deceptive. I am not sure why they have park rules because they surely were not enforced.

Nice folks took their time to tell us all about their location, showed us to our spot for the night. Nice level spot, grassy area. There were a couple of trains that passed in the middle of the night but not too loud to be a nuisance. Great water pressure!! Our Passport America discounted rate was $16.50.

Nice and quiet here, as it a good bit away from Hwy 231, the main road through this area. Easy to get to, though interior roads (all dirt) can be a bit bumpy, but not too bad. There are longhorn cattle here which adds a bit of novelty to this place. Plenty of eating choices nearby.A good place to spend a night or two if passing through this area.

Stayed here for an overnighter to have a full hookup. 30 Amp was 30 for the night. Mostly grass but clean well mowed sites. The office sold steaks too, got a nice cut of beef. They have long horn steer you can see on the drive in/out.

We stayed one week for 154.00. The people running it are very nice. It’s a quite park and close enough to the city if you need anything. Some trees but you are mostly in the sun.

A nice maintained park with basics. People running it are very nice and accommodating. Out in the country and all sites are in the sun. They have 4 washers and dryers there. Not sure if they have showers, I did not see them. There are some long horn steer right next to the campground. I gave this campground a three star on noise because several trains pass on the tracks about 1/2 block away and you can hear them. My husband and I both love trains and enjoy hearing them.. but I understand some people do not. Campground was quiet...
