spacious sites, paved sites, hosts were friendly and helpful, each site has a picnic table and fire ring, lots of trees and nature. Pet friendly. I was here only overnight but I did see other campers fishing, kayaking and sitting by the lake apparently enjoying the view. there’s a boat launch at a nearby park and recreation area. very reasonable pricing. wifi was good.
RElaxed and friendly!

This is a great campground just next to the river with many campsites facing and on the water. There are three docks that go into the water basically just adjacent to the water campsites. The largest dock you can jump off of and swim. There is a small trail in the woods that loops back to the campground and a bit of a swampy area connecting with the river. Many people had kayaks and it is easy to put a kayak in the water here. If you have a bigger boat you need to take it just down the road where there is a boat ramp. Not all campsites had septic hook up, but the ones by the water do. I highly recommend site 4 or 5 as these are on the water, have septic hook up and are distanced enough to give you some space. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helped me scrounge for firewood with their golf cart. The sites do have fire barrels and a small grill. Sites 3,4,5 were concrete pads. Nice shady area with grass and beautiful views of the river. There were lots of spiders, but none that were poisonous and it did rain some impressive thunderstorms at night (we went in August). There isn't too much to do in the surrounding areas, but if you enjoy relaxing, fishing, kayaking then this is the place to go! I can't stress enough how nice the camp hosts were. There were only a few other campers there when we went. Very peaceful and friendly!
