Booked it for 2 nights. Arrived and decided I'd rather sleep in a ditch. Super dump. Didn't feel safe. It maybe close to center of town not worth the risk of staying. Moved over to Highlands RV. Much better. Can't compare.
Great spot for overnight

It's a great location because you are in the middle of Bishop and there are a lot of places to walk to starting with Schat's Bakery right next door. The sites are somewhat small/narrow but large rigs will fit with no problem. It's a very quiet location and you don't hear any street noise. There's a stream running through the park with lots of ducks. Bill checked us in and helped to get us settled. We were very pleased to learn he's an "unofficial" fishing guide so plan on making arrangements with him to go fish the back country (www.bishopfishboy.com). We can't wait to go back again and again.
One and only reason to stay here: walking distance to Bishop

Tidy enough, but after camping in all of the god awesome gorgeous campgrounds nearby, it's hard to fathom why anyone would choose this place except:1. It's one of the only places with full hookups around.2. It's right in the middle of town. That second reason is why we're here, so that the Lady and I can get a much needed date night in after living in the wilderness with a bunch of rug rats for months on end now.I will note though that the gentleman who checked us in was one of the nicest campground attendants ever, in the history of the Universe. I highly doubt that one could expect this type of service on, say, Mars or Norbitron 7.
