Found a Cracker Barrel. It seemed noisy and a bit sketchy. Moved to Walmart and found a perfect spot, right under a sign that said "No overnight parking." Scrambled to find a spot for the night. Called Imperial Manor Mobile Home and RV park.Bill was very nice. This is not really an RV park, but a 55+ Mobile home park. 95% of the residents are permanent. That being said there was an empty lot and Bill gave it to me for the night for $35. It had electric and water hookups, was fairly level. There was a pool and a community room that he said I was welcome to use.The residents all know each other, and they all said "Hi" to me as I walked my dog or went in the poool and then asked who I was. Some said "I don't know you. Are you here temporarily?" I'd explain and they all introduced themselves and made me feel welcome. It is clearly a tight knit community and instead of feeling like they were grilling me, I felt protected. They knew when a stranger was on the property and wanted to know why.I was on a corner lot so there were people going by walking dogs, riding golf carts or driving to and from their lots until bedtime. It was very quiet after 10:00 p.m.Nothing special. Clean, easy, nice people. I've paid a lot more to stay at ugly, unfriendly RV parks.
Very pleased with our week-long stay

We only intended to stay here one night, using our Passport America discount. However, my husband became ill and we had to extend our stay for a week. Bill, the manager, was very accommodating, even allowing us to change our site because my husband was too ill to maneuver into our reserved site. This is an older, but clean and quiet mobile home park for ages 55+ We were warmly welcomed by the residents. Easy access to I-80, close to medical care and shopping. ALL sites are back-in, only a few are easy back-in, the rest, well, you need to know what you are doing as there are mature trees and mobile homes on the grounds. Laundry facilities are very clean and there is a wonderful clothesline area available for anyone to use. We stayed here in a 30' fifth-wheel. The sites are not spacious, but if you are here for overnight or want to use this as a base camp for exploring the Sacramento area, this will meet your needs. No wifi, no cable hookups, though we were able to get some tv with our antenna. We were here in late February and the pool was closed for the season, not sure when it opens. We would stay here again.
