You have to understand happy camp to understand this place... Yes, it's run down, dreary and in need of some TLC, but that is true for ALL of Happy Camp. The new owners of this place are aware of this and have taken it upon themselves to purchase quite a bit of property in Happy Camp in an effort to revitalize it. This RV park is in the midst of that revitalization. The sites are level though poorly grated so you'll have big puddles outside your doorstep when it rains (which it did every day while we were there in October, 2016). The hook ups showed signs of wear (water, elec, sewer available) and abuse but they functioned. Great that there were laundry and shower facilities onsite and the owners were incredibly nice people, very accommodating. Garbage and recycling available as well.Cell phone reception wasn't great (NO AT&T at all, 1 bar of Verizon) but with a cell booster is was tolerable (3-4 bars). The best part of this RV park was the location... 1 block away from the main drag in Happy Camp.
