Being 20 miles north of Tucson, the park is safe and much cooler than Tucson because of the elevation. Their community center looks brand new. It has a clean shower, 2 restrooms, laundry, wifi, satellite tv, microwave, books and games. Overlooking Mount Lemmon, the sunsets there are extraordinary. We made a lot of friends while we were there. We are definitely going back to the Wishing Well when we are headed west again.

We made the mistake of not looking beyond the parks website and it is completely misleading. Stock photos showing a place that doesn’t exist here. The park is old and run down and at $35 a night is overpriced. The manager is very nice and there is a small community of full timers. Sites are dirt and mostly level. We are 35’ long and we’re about 4’ from being too long. There are some longer sites. We didn’t use the facilities and chose to use a laundromat that’s about 200 yards away instead. I think they have WiFi but we used our hotspot and it worked fine. Ok, not our best rv park but we’ve had worse. The is road noise but we chose a spot by the front because of site quality. We won’t be going back but if you need a place it will work. We’re a full time travel family. Check us out at:https://www.hintonthetrail.com

Site number: Their trucker parking area
I am an over the road trucker. Every time I'm passing through, this place is big enough to park my 80' long rig. This is a safe and happy place to stay. I always say that I'm in a "postcard" because it's so very picturesque. Wendy & Denise go out of their way to make everyone's stay a pleasurable experience. I stay here about 3 times a year and I've attended a couple of their potluck events. I enjoy visiting with their guests and trading highway stories.

For the record we did not stay here. We were staying at another park in Tucson and wanted to be closer to the North side of Tucson so we drove through to check this place out. We were staying at another park in Tucson and wanted to be closer to the North side of Tucson so we drove through to check this place out. Glad we didn't make plans to stay here. Lots of trash, run down/broke down campers, motorhomes and vehicles. Right on a busy highway. Sadly this is the only option with full hookups on this end of town. I'd stay in the Catalina State Park or search on Craigslist for an RV space rental instead.
