We stayed here in the middle of a cross-country move. While the place and staff seem great, the RV's and campers are packed in like sardines. Our in-laws are with us as well, and they barely had enough room to let out their slides (one on each side) because they were so close to the campsite next to them. While the lake is beautiful and Mountain Lakes Resort offers many different amenities and full hookups (which is a huge plus), if you are looking for a place with elbow room, this isn't it. This place may work for a lot of people, and since they are busy it must, however it isn't really our family's idea of a good time. We have kids and dogs and like having a little extra space. Unless you walk down to the lake or happen to get one of those spots, your view is going to be the backside of someone else's camper, so close that you could spit on it from your door.Stayed here because it was on our way and available via the coast-to-coast membership (friends and family).
