Sherwood Forest has a nice pool and is in close proximity to the downtown Wisconsin Dells area. Unfortunately that's about all we really enjoyed about this place. We were here over the 4th of July weekend. We expected the place to be packed, but it was just an uncomfortable place to be. At times this place resembled a tent city. The roads to our campsite were very narrow, many campsites had multiple vehicles parked, and there didn't seem to be much care as to where people parked. It was pretty chaotic. Our neighbors were smoking weed, which was annoying and happened at just about any time of the day. The campsite itself was very small and difficult to get into, even though it was a pull-through. On our 21 day trip, this was the only place where we made a concerted effort to get out early (7:30am) just so we didn't have to deal with what potentially could be a rush of people leaving the park on a Sunday morning. We won't be back again.
