Great little quiet park. Most campers were avid fishermen and kept to themselves. We had the choice of shade with water\electric or full hookups without shade - took shade, worked out nice. Location also had good wifi. Very close walk to Lake Michigan, 20 minute walk into Algoma. Very wide open space with playground in the middle, boat storage, etc. Only complaint was site was not very level in any direction, and hard to get RV level. Great quiet campground with excellent hosts.

Fairly typical commercial campground in most regards. The nicest feature is widely spaced grassy sites (with gravel driveways). There are quite a few seasonals but still plenty of room for transient visitors. Good laundry facility and pleasant management. This is one of those low-tech operations. It's cash or check only (no credit cards) and if you call for a reservation they just write your name on a piece of paper and say "see you tomorrow." There is wifi but we didn't use it.Beware of the extra $4 per day charge for using electric heat or air conditioning, which isn't included in the $39 rate I quoted above. This is a good starting point for day trips to Sturgeon Bay (30 minutes) or other places around southern or central Door County. Algoma itself has a quaint small downtown and nice sandy public beach. Shopping is limited: a Piggly Wiggly nearby has most stuff but for big-box shopping expect to drive down to Green Bay.
